Trick I've noticed getting used to it: Throws are higher, but will land in the same location as the 3 ball mills mess (being in the center). Makes the mindset easier when doing it, and will likely help for 5+ balls. (6, I imagine, is still weird though)

I love how you give three alternative starts!! Most people just teach the way they feel most comfortable, and say that is the best!! But everybody has different preferences, which is what I always try to remember when teaching!! Great job, I was just at a juggling festival in Guangzhou, China, this last weekend, and started learning this trick, your video is a huge help!!

Love your videos.👍. In about 1994 I was in secondary school (UK) and me and a friend of mine attended circus skill club once a week for a couple months...we managed to learn to juggle 4 balls and abit of club passing but I never quite managed 5 balls. During lockdown and watching your videos has relit my interest in juggling...I have taught my son to juggle 3 balls and I have very nearly managed 5 balls. 4 ball mills mess has always been my nemesis but after watching this video I will concentrate on it much more. Thankyou.

This tutorial couldn't have come at a better time. I've been playing around with four ball mills mess for *years*, and have never gotten past a couple of cycles. I watched your previous four ball mills tutorial, and was going to request a new one... and then this shows up. I did realize last week, much to my chagrin, that my reverse fountain sucks -- I mean, I learned to juggle 4 over 30 years ago, of *course* I can do a reverse fountain, right? Well, not if I haven't actually practiced it, apparently... so I'm going to spend a week or two solidifying that (reverse fountain in my dominant hand is ok, but my derp hand needs a lot of work) Thanks for all of your juggling tutorials; they're head and shoulders above the rest.

@@brskr01 Then why did you write your original comment in German? I can't really do this trick yet. I started practising it about a week ago and I can do about 7 to 9 messy catches now. I think some tricks are easier for some people to learn than others but we can all do nearly whatever trick we want if we practice enough. Is your three-ball Mills Mess solid?
