Fantastic game changin tackle by Ralph Brown on Jamal Lewis

I think R Brown is still in the NFL after 10 years, that is pretty good.

The way I described this as "Crushing" this was a very pivotal point of the game Tennessee was driving for the lead early in the game and Brown made a great tackle causing a fumble. IMO it was a crushing tackle because it did crush the hopes of the Tennessee Volunteers

I got funny little league pics of Ralph,he used to play with my brother and stay over our house.lol..he was a buff kid,and had a cool dad too.

@ckalaani1 That is what made it a great tackle Lewis didn't see him, Brown caused the fumble changed game. Not bad for 5'9" sub 200 lb dude on a 240 lb running back.

Did he bring down Lewis? Did he separate the ball from the ball carrier? Did his team recover the football? The game was tied at this point in the game, and Tennessee was driving it changed the course of the game. No where did I say Ralph Brown was a better pro than Jamal Lewis, just on this play on this day Ralph got the better of Jamal and he deserves credit for that.

I agree that Ralph Brown has not had a great NFL career, but he was a great player in college.

And yet he caused the fumble.. who is the bitch now? Lewis for fumbling on an tackle that wasn't straight up... Ralph Brown and Nebraska owned this day.

Dude if it wasn't a tackle then then maybe it wasn't a fumble either and then maybe Tennessee didn't get their ass whipped. I'm sure the statisticians gave Brown credit for the tackle and the force fumble. Brown came from no where to pop Lewis and he didn't give Lewis a chance to react it was a great play no matter how you look at it. Who cares if Lewis is the better NFL player, Brown won this battle hands down.

For NFL players I agree, Ralph Brown has been a bust but on this particular play Ralph got the better of Jamal.

Even Terry Donahue a great coach said Brown made a great tackle I'm sure he is more qualified than you.. who cares if you think if it is a tackle or not Brown brought Lewis to the ground by whatever means necessary and separated Lewis from the Ball. Great job Ralph!!

you are a bonehead, if if if if , the fact of the matter is Brown who was outweighed by 55 pounds shred the block made the hit at the precise time where Lewis couldn't react and caused the bone jarring hit/fumble.
