Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm a newbie and have been watching a lot of your tutorials. I actually made this yesterday and did the wet felting today. My needle felted mat is now resting on a rack sitting over a floor vent. We have freezing temperatures outside and no sunshine at all. You are a great teacher!

I took into mind your review of different felting mats and modeled mine more after the wooly buddy. Again, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've learned a lot from your videos ...looking forward to more 💕👍🪡

Can we just use 100% merino wool or roving wool instead of the core wool in the center? Thanks

What size needle / needles do you use for this project. I want to try to make it

It does depend on your wool, I use 40 twisted in the multi needle holder but started with a 32 or 36 triangular probably x

Great tutorial! I have small question, can you also use roving slithers or does it have to be a sheet/batt?

You can definitely use either, the batt is just a bit quicker to wrap round x

Hi phillipa loving your tutorials, how firm does the pad have to be before adding the colour roving. Thanks Lisa x

What does the wet felting do?
@feltsbyphilippa3 жыл бұрын

@BexEtcArt2 жыл бұрын
Would u consider making these to sell?
@feltsbyphilippa2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't, they take too long to make, it explains why the woolbuddy mats are about £20, lots of effort to make but worth it as my mat has lasted for ages x
