There are a lot of great things about this layout. The chair in the bedroom is too big for the space, that is a simple design fix. Love the entry way. So many homes go straight into the living room. If this home were in locations that have 4 seasons or colder windy months you will hate not having an entry to block the winds encroaching on your seating area. The laundry area is small but you remembered to put cabinets to store the necessities for the devices. I can't think of much else I would change. I am looking for a future home for myself and this is one of my favorites thus far. I have been looking for 2 yrs so I am narrowing down my choice. Great job. Thank you.

Why would you have wall cupboards over the sink? It would be better placed under the kitchen window so you could look out while washing up!

My only complaint about the layout is the limited counter space in the kitchen. As for the furnishings, why the unused space between the sofa and the wall in the living room? I was relieved that there was no TV over the fireplace!

You never put a built-in wall oven under a cooktop, the whole idea of having a wall oven in the first place is for a more manageable height. Where are the water taps for the laundry and how would you ever hook them up in this design? Where is the furnace, the hot water heater?

I’d move the area carpet moved away from the fireplace and remove the sofa section next to the fireplace out altogether. Again it’s too close. For a minimalist, this would be perfect. Minimalism is something I can only aspire to.

Love how welcoming the outside looks. I love the fireplace and bookshelves, but the kitchen is a little small for my taste and I would rather have a laundry room not placed in the hall like this.

I dare you to build this as is then try to cook and then clean up after a 5 course dinner for 4. This penchant for open plan and minimal kitchens is a fad that cannot end soon enough.
