Japan is better at floor defense and hitting smart, while Thailand is better at net defense and attacking strong. Both teams can sure used one of the others specialty and then they both would be even more solid teams. On the other note, I would like to see Ajcharaporn or Chatchu-on play OP and let Pimpichaya play OH to see if she will hit stronger in the OH position and better than when she plays OP. Sure would be nice if Thailand had as strong a hitter on the OP side as the OH.

Japan needs to produce better Middle Blockers. It's their MBs that keep them from beating taller teams. They need to have MBs who can execute quick attacks, not just slide plays. Look at Pleumjit and the other Thai MBs. They can execute quick attacks and block better than their Japanese counterparts.

Aramis Zabat You don't know what the competitions will bring, such that tatdao and other shining stars of Thai are coming back for Asian games. You'll never know, because it always that the ball is promptly round and anyone can beat teams. Nothing is impossible in terms of extra legal means.
