Partynextdoor is one my favorite artists but him dropping an album with Drake is only going to have a negative impact on him. I still think that with promo his album could probably outsell GNX the first week. GNX wasn't even Kendrick's biggest week, it was about half of what DAMN was. I know it has to do with it having no promo or physical copies, but still. I wish we could have seen what GNX would have done with proper promo and physical copies. I honestly thought GNX would do at least 600K even without promo because of the attention Kendrick had. What I do believe Drake can't do is beat out GNX OVERALL. GNX keeps on playing because it's actually good. And it's gonna keep charting for the foreseeable future.

While this is true the taste makers/influencers that those lemmings listen to and follow are up on it. So Drake will be getting played less, talked about less, etc. Those 99% or whatever the number actually is (it's not 99%) are followers. So they'll be hearing Drake less, listening to him less even if it's not a conscious choice they're making or are aware of.
