@@fantasybookclub yeah there are so many small connections that are so easy to overlook on a first read through which while inconsequential really help on rereads and no matter how many times you do you will never find everything.

Ah yes, dried blood makes sense. Before I looked up a map and realized where Kan was I thought this was possibly a hint at travelling through some other Warren, but sometimes it's not that deep 😂
