i literally love six of crows and kanej. i just finished the duology the other day and idk what to do with my life. im reading sob now but i can’t wait to see them again in rotw 😭 kanej works so well, actually cried when kaz used all his money to free inej and THEN BOUGHT A SHIP AND REUNITED HER WITH HER PARENTS. i cried so hard in everyone of their scenes. especially in soc when kaz was in the water and thought of her. bawled. i was floored. gone. 6 ft under. it’s such a good book duology and all the romance relationships are so beautiful and different! 111/10 recommend! x

Okay first of all like a yes, The False Prince series is so underrated but also if it were to ever get adapted I think that perfect actor for Sage would be Walker Scobel

I love the Last Magician series so much!! imo the romance subplot is very slow and subtle the last 2 books but it definitely gets better. lol the books get thicker each time too

Also, another good book in the genre is Four Dead Queens Astrid Scholte. It is a murder mystery set in a fantasy world with a romance subplot. The world itself isn't your typical fantasy world because there is technology, but it is very easy to understand. The formatting of the book is also different so it is a very fast and engaging read. It is also a self-contained story, and so it's perfect for people like me who don't have the attention span for giant series. Also, it has the pick pocketing meet cute. Would recommend.

Oh my god the same! I first started reading the series when I was 11 and did not have any idea how Imogen was pronounced. I said it the exact same way! Other then the romance of course, my other favorite part about the series are the comedic ones. Jaron makes the funniest jokes and best comebacks like in History. Oh and the 4th book. OMG.

Some recommendations with slow burn romance subplots: The 5th Wave(apocolyptic thriller, aliens), Skyward(plot driven, action-packed sci fi with brilliant plot twists and mysteries, also a super slow burn slightly cheesy romance on the side), and Fountains of Silence(well written, moving historical fiction with an amazing romance subplot)

Here’s some Book recommendations with romance subplots The Ravenwood saga series by Morgan l Busse The Skyworld series by Morgan l Busse literally such a slow burn romance but so good The Heirs of Neverland series by Kara Swanson their relationship is just so sweet and I love the buildup for the romance

I loved the balck magician trilogy by Trudi Canavan and it's also a fantasy with a romance sub plot, múltiple POV and magic school setting and I don't see people in book tube talking about these books ever I don't know why
