Exactly how I feel! I wish there were more life-sim RPGs that had simplistic-yet cool combat and exploration elements like Fantasy Life! I almost got Rune Factory 5, but I saw that the combat looked a bit too simplistic and the frame rate is not the best.

I can’t say I blame newcomers for thinking this is like AC with words like “create” and “island” but this is only like 30 seconds of context. If it’s anything like the previous game, then we will probably be exploring the vast island, while taking up various skills and making allies with a lot of characters, all while uncovering the truth of the girl who steals time and defeating bosses and claiming their bounties. I love the first game and I am so excited to dump a whole lotta hours in this one.

I remember getting fantasy life for the first time at a Walmart randomly because at the time it was the only interesting looking game there at the time. I had heard nothing about it, knew nothing about it, and never researched it and I will say 1000% say it was an amazing 10/10 experience (aside from the hefty dialogue) I love this game to bits. I enjoyed playing with friends and doing quests together and heading to Al majikk or the floating islands to gain exp, I enjoyed getting the origin island dlc and doing the very challenging trials, I enjoyed getting my lives to god tier. When I saw this announced during the direct I was on the floor screaming and crying in disbelief because despite how much I begged in the past I gave up thinking there'd be fantasy life on switch and now here it is. Hope this game gets more attention and more fans and I hope all fans of the previous game come back as well and we can all adventure together
