I would have liked something that played up her ability to phase out of existance she has in her boss fight in Mystic Square [When she's moving she just becomes a green outline and becomes invulnerable]

@@metalman9696 Personally, I had her pinned as having the ability to manipulate states of existence... I mean, her name literally means "Dream Child" and, given ZUN's propensity towards meaningful names, I personally always kinda interpreted Yumeko as both a literal "dream child" -- in the sense that she is a dream of Shinki's come to life -- and also that she can make dreams come true (allowing her to do stuff like create weapons) and bring herself to the brink of non-existence, becoming little more than a dream passing through the world...

@@GrahamChapman That, and with a bit of thinking and taking into consideration my physics classes when I was studying, I would say that Yumeko's ability is “Spatial Manipulation”, as she demonstrates in her combat. (And that Touhou 6 is similar in some things to 5, and since Sakuya manipulates time, it makes sense that Yumeko manipulates space; obvious, but it's not very important in the comparison). In the manipulation of space is the manipulation of matter (creation of weapons), manipulation of particles (the lasers it fires), of distance, mass, energy, etc. And capable of manipulating time (you can't manipulate space without manipulating time and vice versa). Oh, and teleportation.

@@metalman9696 Eh, personally I outright reject the spatial manipulation theories in favour of just plain reality manipulation: The power to make dreams manifest into reality, the power to diminish her own personal state of existence to the point of basically not existing at all, etc. Makes her a lot more interesting and creative than just "spatial counterpart to Sakuya" imo.

@@GrahamChapman The Touhou 6 thing is my weakest point, the truth is that it gets to be annoying, that Yumeko is always compared to Sakuya; now, the reality manipulation thing, I personally like your idea with Yumeko's powers, I must also admit, that reality manipulation it's more Yukari's or Okina's. Some space manipulation abilities allow you to: *Deform reality (Yumeko creating swords out of nothing) *Manipulation of momentum, speed and matter. *Elemental manipulation, void, domain, reality, warp *Manipulation of tangibility, time (basic), power, space attunement, *Summon/Prohibition, duplication, etc. Just mentioning everything Yumeko uses is her battle in stage 5 (from the last time I played Touhou 5). I repeat, Yumeko is a better character to Sakuya and even many characters. Too bad ZUN didn't use more characters from Touhou 5 again.
