Fellas, be a man worth submitting to.

Me the entire time watching this because I’ve been married for 12 years. 😆😁😆😁😆😁 This is all true! I can look back now and laugh and smile but going through it with only one of us following Jesus was difficult. Only when I became a believer did things begin to change. Unequally yoked really doesn’t work. If a man is asking you to sin Don’t submit to him -a poem by J. Pokluda 🤣

This series is literally everything. Thank you God for using Pastor JP as a vessel. And thank you for the porch. What god and all of you have created is amazing. In a world that is fallen and full of darkness, the porch light is on. I am so thankful for that!!!!

Thank God. Finally go a biblical view on marriage and not what Hollywood says about “marriage.” Bless this pastor .

It would be really cool to see a sermon on what to do if you've already messed up your life and need to get back on track. Like if you have kids - but are now single, does that call you to singleness or to be married for the sake of giving the kids a good family and fighting chance at a "normal" life. I understand God told us not to get there in the first place, and I have so much regret, I just don't know how to find my way out now. Thank you for your sermons, they have really helped.

Your past shouldn't define the rest of your life. J. Pokluda in an older sermon said "History doesn't disqualify you, but your reputation does." Change your reputation by walking with God now, and he will handle the rest

This is so incredible! I love the pictures of a man/woman and Christ! The trinity! As we draw closer to God, we will become closer to one another

Selfish people have trouble in marriage. ...not communicating is an enemy of marriage. ...after 41 years of happiness my wife and I are blessed. ....in respect to sex it's importance should be miniscule ...like a desert after the main course. (not always needed or wanted)....if one or the other develop health issues then it may not even be there so self control needs to be paramount. God needs to be the head of the union.

We pursue Jesus first and all these things will be added. We follow Jesus and let God work on us and God will bring us the right person. You don't want to settle. As a man you are the foundation and God wants your heart first so you can lead well. Be content with Jesus and seek Jesus first.

If the reality is to showcase the mystery of marriage of Jesus' love of the church, then there's a big problem when many don't believe in Jesus anymore...many don't believe in God anymore...many don't see the benefits of marriage anymore... alternative lives have taken over many peoples dreams/hopes/goals

"I was single too" Well duh but that doesn't mean the jungle doesn't change. There are new hardships and new obstacles. Laws are in place that encourage women to get divorced and statistics support it. Then they are men who are constantly pursued by women and don't want to commit. I am not saying don't get married I am saying don't be naïve. Men can be monsters meanwhile women can be full snakes. Even in the church don't be surprised if there are false teachers or wolves in sheep clothing. Know scripture Know God know the principles and stay safe.

You know at 33.30 you mentioned how wife is cold in bed and it's your problem to go and turn heating up, but surely she can't use you without ever returning the favour. so maybe if she doesn't want to be in debt and have to return favours, she can meet her own tiny needs like turning the heating up.....
