Can you ask your guests how many gameweeks their team is set up for to give us some context. I.e. are they picking teams with the whole season in mind or just a few gws until they wildcard. It makes a big difference.

No way any of the content creators & experts going without Haaland at the start (Raptor excluded) for the simple fact that it's more difficult to get to Haaland if he rises in price after week 1 or 2 than it is to go down from him. I don't buy it! 🤨

All of them have said that they might pick him before start of the season. But I agree with you and ofc they don’t tell everything what they will do because they are competing against each other. To me one good option is to build good team for the gw 1 without any chelsea or city players and play the bench boost and after gw 1 use the wildcard and get city and chelsea player in. But I have to say that even Ipswich is now coming back to prem they are not bad team at all. I guess I can’t leave Haaland out for the Ipswich fixture but they are not bad team. For example their first game is home game against liverpool (I’m liverpool fan) and liverpool has a new manager. You can’t know how liverpool will play with a new manager from start of the season. It may take awhile before that works. And for Ipswich and for their fans that is the one of the biggest game of the season. They will try to do everything for the win or even for tha draw. They want to show to fans in home game that they are not going back to championship. But yeah overall so many things to think about like chelsea and a new manager how that will work.

He's not worth it after GW2 with how expensive he is so you wouldn't bother. If you have Haaland with the intention of moving him after GW2 you're costing yourself 2-3 transfers. That's the decision that has to be made as he's the stand out captain for GW2.

I disagree that upping the prices makes the game more fun. Most players like the feeling of signing players so for me it would be the best if the game was just free transfers every week 😅 Anyone who thinks they would win FPL with such a change are deluded. Remember all players would have this. The team of the week proves that everyone gets it wrong every week since it is always infested with under 1% owned players

Am I reading that right on your FFH pts predictor for GW1... Tomiyasu is predicted to get 5.2 pts and Saliba 4.7 pts? Tomiyasu will NOT even be playing. Or maybe the model knows something everyone else doesn't? This is why I gave up using both FFS and FFH. These predictive models are truly useless IMHO.
