The more I look at arsenal fixtures the more I don't want any of their defense, Villa away gw2, Spurs & City away gw4&5, gw 6,7,8 are in their favor then 9,10,11 it's pool, Newcastle, Chelsea so alot of rotation with your bench I think

Re Haaland, leaving Salah out will put you behind as well. Who is captaining him in GW1? Cant have it both ways. Its a flawed argument. Also Haaland/Pedro vs Solanke/Watkins 20.5 v 16.5. Im not convinced by the reasoning here. It seems like the logic is being placed with bias.

Playing Haland just not to be behind? its weird. Not having halland I can upgrade several positions, and Salah has Brentford at home which is not a bad fixture. What is more, my midfield has Saka, Son, and Jota along Salah. The points that may be lost on Haland are likely to be recovered over the first 4 fixtures. Structuring your entire team over 1 fixture in incredibly negative.

These are all just template teams trying to get the highest rating. A genuine expert would have players who have very low expectations. Aaron Wan Bissaka is rated as 0.0 expected points but that's not true. Van De Ven Very low rating but he's one of the best defenders Man United players in general..low ratings but we all know those players will perform better! I feel like people obsess over the rating when it's just a prediction.

There is of course one argument which is I recognize, and that is that the Salah + Haaland draft makes me very inflexible for future transfers, and could force me into using at least 2 transfers or even a wildcard prematurely.

That is why I have decided to drop the Salah + Haaland idea for now (and I guess forever since their prices only will go up). I do however disagree to some extent about Murphy and Minteh and expect at least one of them to beat the overhyped Nkunku and Eze.
