In the ASOIF timeline Lady Smallwood is quite a character. She defends her keep from attacks by Tywin's terrorists, aids and abets the Brotherhood Without Banners by offering them food and shelter and even flirts with Tom O' Sevens. She was also very kind to Arya Stark during the Brotherhood's brief stay at Acorn Hall.

Essentially the theory posits that, given how "Stark" is the German word for strong, a legendary hero of the riverlands named Artos the Strong might have been the founder of House Strong, and shares this very specific variant of the name Arthur with a known Stark, that the Strongs may have been a branch of House Stark that settled along the Trident thousands of years ago. Joe Magician has a whole video about it where he goes into more detail.
