Not realy the speed of riding that will help our cause. As the gate was locked was it a legal road to ride ? Please think before you ride a route and check it is still a legal right of way. Yes I know I'm boring but I want to carry on a few more years riding green lanes. Also lads and lassies please think before you use these lanes in the wet as you can cause plenty of damage and add bullets to the opposition....

Hi Mike, had this convo already with someone else. It's a legal route round the back of centre Parcs. There is no sign that I can see to the contrary. The vast majority of damage is caused by the 4x4s. The was a G Wagon down there when I was too and it's frequented by all the locals as there aren't any other lanes within a good distance. I found one yesterday which is about 4miles away but it's mostly tarmac and then a straight bit of undulating lane. We don't have much in this part of beds/bucks. Off to do Enduro in the mud tomorrow. Ride safe mate. 👍

@@dynamotightstar3472 where you started that lane is marked on my OS map as BOAT, so legal for you to ride as long as no TRO's have been put up (notices should be there if TRO in place) but where you seem to have gone wrong is when you made the left turn to follow the woods on your left. From there on it's Bridleway, so not legal for us on bikes (or cars, obvs) Have you found anything like Viewranger for example? It could save you a lot of hassle and help you stay legal. Plus it means the legal lanes may just be kept open long enough for your kids to ride them too.

@@stevebrown7584 Hi Steve, yep got View Ranger now ride all over the place. Not been down there since as its so far from any other lanes sadly. Shame it's the only one in such a big area. There's one heading up to MK from there but regaukr road cars drive down it so you can imagine how fun that is to ride to. : /
