This is very helpful, thank you. I am reviewing this information that I learned in a class at Community College. I learned this information in the first class a few years ago, now I am about to take the advanced class and I need some review to be able to start the new class on my feet! Also, thanks for traveling back from the year 2027 to teach us this information!

Th videos are insightful and interesting but as some has already mentioned an organized structure of the videos (on one playlist) for let’s say FANUC would be amazing.

When the title is Create your "First" Program you would think this would be the first video, but no, theres a link in the beginning to go to a previous video. Click on that link, start watching and then theres another link for another video you should of watched prior to watching the video prior to the first one, go to that one and then you realize theres another video that needed to be watched before that one. So the "First" video is far from the first one, its like the 5th or 6th. So which video is the first one?

Hello Anthony, robot programming is not an easy task :-) It requires extensive knowledge. You can create a program without knowing what a UF or TF is, as well as difference between Join and Linear movements, it's up to you to choose what knowledge you'd like to use, that's why videos are divided into various topics. I would say that 40min is not enough to fully understand how does the robot work :-), but to give you and idea how it can work.

Hello, can you make a video on DCS for FANUC? Thanks

Sure, I can. Any specific topic form DCS ? Cartesian position check ? Or just I/O communication ? It's a big topic :-) Let me just finish the "first program" video and I'll get to DCS

I didn't understand the question fully. Do you want to correct the robot path in the real time (for MIG/MAG) ? FANUC has a TAST option, so maybe that's something that you are looking for: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2nMhHVnqK-pZrs

Hey, I would suggest the best start (low cost) would be to watch KZbin videos + download Roboguide + get some FANUC manuals, all of that would be for free, but you would need to spend some time putting all of it together.

@FutureRoboticsChannel3 жыл бұрын
I think I do not understand the question fully, could you tell me a bit more ?
@billknighton4181 Жыл бұрын
I think he means that going through every possible option instead of just starting with the program is a difficult way to learn. I can’t possibly remember all of these sidebars before it gets to the actual writing of the program. By analogy, programmers are usually introduced to a new language with hello world as a first step and then they fill out the complexities of the language at a later time. Nobody goes through every feature of the editor and compiler before showing how to enter the program and hit run.

Your content and idea is amazing BUT I think it could use some good organizing. You began with discussing about what you would talk about but I wasn’t able follow it. The 4 main points was how to create a program, program properties, creating points, and what a program should have at start. The last couple of minutes would have been for discussing the options that could be done with the program. Take some time and organize your information and practice what you’re going to say. Other than that keep up the good work, mate!
