I'm so happy we still got at least one more fully animated episode of Tell Your Tale, and I'm glad it was this one. This was a very nice special. We got a see new creatures, the songs were very fun and I'm always glad to see more of Allura. Also, I noticed on rewatch that Posey had some very funny and meme worthy faces throughout the special XD

Oh my god, this special was completely insane and very intense. A brand new breed of bunnies called the hoppalottas, the Mane 6 and Posey coming together and telling them about the pony races coming together, and some more continuity here and there, especially when it comes to Allura, because oh my god, the ending where she and Twitch discovers the shards of the Nova Charm at the Boardtrot sets up a possible turning point in her arc. Maybe she will get the Nova Charm pieces back together and then get back to her brother. We’ll see what happens, and I’m loving the cutie mark speeches.

I think this year im gonna be putting a heck of a lot of work into editing these tell your tale unfinished episodes. Not the animation side of it, but more the sound part. theres levels in almost episode that scream the need to be balanced out. Lines that get lost and drowned out......gah its driving the amv artist in me nuts.

First video of the new year, and it's a fully animated special? That's fantastic news. Posey making silly faces? More interesting worldbuilding? One more main character earnestly trying to reach out to Allura? Faolan talking Stormblazer talk, however briefly? Pipp being... Pipp as always? Any one of those on its own would make this a win in my book, but we got them all!

I loved this new special when I watched it earlier. those hopalottas bunnies are so cute and I love the battle between Allura and Sunny. And I love that this special has more songs the only flaw is that there are no sounds or except for the songs and the voices of the ponies and hopalottas. But the plot makes up for the flaw.

Allura just being at the smoothie stand chilling with the main cast looks like some behind the scenes stuff. It’s as if when the camera isn’t rolling the villains just get along fine with the heroes and everyone just lives in peace. It’s like something we’re not meant to see because of how we are supposed to view Allura. When in reality she’s not a villain or that bad she just plays up the idea she is because that’s all anyone sees her as already. At least Sunny is still trying to connect with her even offering to invite her over for dinner. If she isn’t one of the sweetest Mlp characters we’ve ever been given. See Twilight, this is how you reform your enemies just take time to get to know and connect with them. Instead of well what you did. Also I can see Allura calling over the phone to complain about the noise since it’s well destroying her home.

I have a theory that Allura will use her hypno magic to turn all the ponies in Maretime Bay against The mane 6 and while they are distracted Allura will use the pieces of the Nova charm to go back home. And if her plan doesn’t work she will enslave The mane 6 too except for Sunny and she will find a way to reform her. Think about it.

Somehow I was comparing the Hopalattas (specially the leadee 10:12) as giant bunny Pous (thar circle brown monster of the one) during this special. Still, it was interesting restoring this ancient species after all what happened before G5 series. 🤔👍🏽👍🏽

But yeah i think this serves as the mid-season story point. Highlighting that the nova charms magic is as dangerous as Allura's brother said all those years ago, Unpredictable. In that reguard Misty, Izzy & Sunny may prove to be the crucial factor in its stability. Izzy - the force of Creativity, Sunny - The Evolved alicorn magic & Misty - The lost magic of the past. lol almost a triforce of you think about it.

I really appreciate n enjoy the MLP TYT Season 2's 2nd Special alot. Because the Flying Rollercoaster is so fun, Posey Bloom being ignorant but very funny at the same time, The epic confrontations between Sunny and Allura is really awesome, and I like the Hopalottas bunnies and their leader queen Hopalotta because they're adorable talented and funny. Pretty good 2nd Special.

After the stress from last week, this felt like a major weight lifted off my chest. Really liked seeing the world expand. As for Allura, yeah I’m sorry but I can’t really sympathize with her any more and wish for a happy ending. She’s been offered help, but she keeps pushing it away and now is turning them against her. So she’ll be alone by the end of this and I have no issues with that.
