I bet I wasn't the only one who was really surprised to see Izzy transformed in a similar way to how the G4 Mane6 were during their battle against Tirek in the special "Twilight's Kingdom" (one of the best special of the G4 series btw). I'd say my favorite thing about the special is the expansion on Allura's character. I'm glad they are touching on the fact that she has to contend with a new climate while being in Maretime. It's nice that we a softer side to giant kitty, not just with her showing how much she cares for Twitch (9:01 Look at that face 😻) but her about home. I did not expect her to be homesick. Her design screams "Rebellious" to me with her hair style and ear piercing. Really brings "rebellious teenage phase" to mind. I like to think it's because of her desire for complete freedom. Being able to whatever she wants, wherever she wants. She doesn't want to be tied down or stuck in one place, which is why she wants the nova charm. With it, she could go between any and all the realms she wants whenever she feels like it, with her brother at her side and Twitch tow. Because of all that, seeing her seem to miss home was interesting. Perhaps that's where her brother is. Stuck in their home realm like how Allura is stuck in Maretime bay. I really hope we get more on who her brother is and where their home is. A also appreciate the parallel Allura has with Izzy with being stuck (Izzy's creative block and Allura struggling to attempt to her new climate) and the message of pushing forward. Izzy goes on a quest to find new inspiration with friends old and new and Allura is able to make a temporary home because she trusted Twitch's advice. That was nice. Its cool seeing another creature and a sea pony no less. I also like the line about laughter being magic. Reminds me of when the element of Laughter, Pinkie, made a connection with Skystar in the 2017 movie, (I don't know if that was intentional but I thought it was neat none the less). Given how we have Opaline and the dragons to represent fire, Allura and the auroricorns to relate to ice, The third element could be water with Destiny and the sea ponies, perhaps a villain will also be a water elemental. PS I really hope we get more on the Jade sea, Isle of Scaly, and Starlight Ridge before finding new locations. Work with what you have before bring in new stuff and all that. Side note: I love the new auroricorn, Stardance, and Destiny. They’re fun I hope we see them again soon. The board trot is really exciting and I can't wait to see what the nova shards bring out. Speaking of magic areas, Izzy says "Crystal B, you think of everything" when she puts on her scuba mask, as in Crystal Brighthouse. Which pretty much confirms the Bright house is now sentient, and I am totally find with that. The songs we have are definitely energetic, especially feel the magic. That song really does feel like something you would wake up to. Let your Magic Run Wild is defiantly my favorite, not only does it include all six members, but it is so grand, epic, and powerful.

- This special of TYT is really cool. A pure masterclass. - The story is a little like "Izzy does it" where Izzy has a creativity bloc and find a way to cure it. - We see more about the G5 world and a new specie. - Allura, even if she doesn't make many things here, it is good to see here. And I love her relationship with Twitch who is different if we compared about Misty and Opaline. Allura sees Twitch like a friend and not like a sidekick. When he wants to tell something, she listens. And it is cute when she protects him. - Izzy has an evolution like Sunny and it is not an alicorn form. I think every member of the Mane 6 will have this.

I appreciated the moral as an artist, and loved the reintroduction of the seaponies, Destiny has such a gorgeous design! Let Your Magic Run Wild is a bop! I think the five minute timings work well for smaller bite sized stories, but the more adventure based storyline that builds up through each character interaction is certainly more suited to the longer time frame and allowed the pacing to be perfect! A lovely special, but I wouldn’t say it topped Starscout Code~

I've had Equestria Girls flashbacks from watching G5, but it doesn't help that the nova charm fixing a theme park makes me think that Sunset Shimmer and her friends should've gotten their own HQ. On a smaller note, Allura saved Twicth from the nova charm's magic proves that they truly care about each other

[Technically Speaking]: The "Altar of Gaia" in the "Everfree Cave" would be the logical place for their "Fortress of Power" [it is were the SOURCE feeding the magical energy of their geodes converges from the local Laylines Crossing]. . It has the same function as the Cave of the Tree of Harmony in Equestria. -> If Gloriosa Daisy marries alumni!ShiningArmor (he is NOT going to do it with the current Principal of his Alma Matter), then Sci!Twi could build her own Crystal Castle out of that quarry. . "Back to the Future" (G5): The Nova Charm seems to be made of the same "Everfree Shards" [except for the one that became the Geode of Telekinesis/Magi of Sci!Twi]. My theory is that it is the "Wishing Star", that Comet The Auroricorn has to capture in Maretime Bay during Winter Wishday to "complete the set" [creating the "Supernova Charm" that can cross the gap between Worlds (reaching Skyros)]. -> This special confirmed that Starlight Ridge is just an isolated sector of the same planet/Realm were Equestria, The Isle of Scaly & the Jade Seas are located.

Seeing that sea ponies also have cutie marks, makes my belief I had ever since dragons were introduced to be real. The friendship that Twilight cultivated between all the races besides ponies is probably what allowed the cutie mark magic to be shared with other species. It would make sense, if we consider characters like Gabbie who wished to experience the same feeling young foals have when they get their cutie marks. And since the magic of frienship is constantly growing and evolving, maybe it got to a point where other races started to also have cutie marks.

I love it especially because Izzy got a chance to go to sea equestria and meet a sea pony, got her own new rainbow power and I loved the fair and the songs and the braids were cool and so is Izzy's rainbow hair I hope all of them would be sea ponies and get rainbow hair. I loved the movie, the sea ponies and the rainbow form in friendship is magic.

Starlight Ridge was not her "home", just the place her brother commanded her to go (in order to obtain the Nova Charm [made of 6 colored "Everfree Shards"), but that by itself alone only allows for in-planet travel portal gating. . She was also tasked with obtaining a "special star" to "complete the Set" of the 7 Shards [the "SuperNova Charm"] that it is capable of traveling off-world. -> The "special star" is likely the Wishing Star that ONLY appears near Maretime Bay for a few minutes on Winter Wishday.

I was honestly really surprised by the fact Allura actually saved Twitch. It is a great indication that she, despite her attitude, would show more of her sensitive side , deep origin and her possible redemption later in TYT (even though now her plans were also suddenly failing). 🤔👍

@@FaolanCortez Let me tell you this clearly: Allura, The Snow Leopard DID NOTHING WRONG. . You could even argue that a group of aliens (the Mane Six) came uninvited, invaded her territory & usurped her Throne (that she technically obtained legally by the Laws of the Place that she was ruling rules, besides enforcing it with her Might & Magic ®). . For all the mind control & forced labor Allura imposed on her subjects, she took the effort of making sure they did not suffer WHILE hypnotized. -> She allowed them to "be themselves" most of the time [when you include time for sleeping], working for her only on the ideal hours. Even retreating back into the forest every day (giving them space to be), rather than micromanaging their town.

After being "banished" from Starlight Ridge (since neither her nor the ponies were willing to fight to death to settle the score), because they also found & stole the thing she was looking for there [the Nova Charm], she had no other choice but to follow them into their territory. . It is only at this point were she has found a place [a deep cave] with enough insulation for her "freezing powers" to last for longer than she needs to rest to recharge them (so she can slowly recuperate her mana/stamina by resting in a comfortable cold place). . Her lack of fortune keeps punishing her (as the Charm splits in a way she does not know how to undo), plus this "Theme Park" Izzy is rebuilding is located VERY CLOSE of her place of rest [she is going to have to "deal with the neighbors" rather soon]. -> Her only wish is to be able to reunite with his only family in the Multiverse (her brother); releasing him from his current prison & leaving Maretime Bay forever [her brother probably has other plans, but she is likely unaware].

I actually find it intriguing how there are specific slices of rainbow magic for each of the Mane 6 in G5 because it further brings out the best in their characteristics and mannerisms, which is why this special works so damn well for Izzy. It was somewhat predicted and set in stone for Izzy in ‘Swirlpool Starlight’. I didn’t really like it in G4 because it felt cliche and out of the blue, while in G5, it has been a constant thread of plot crumbs building up for the cast and the story to build upon. ❤️

Tell Your Tale is its own separate timeline/continuity than Make Your Mark. . In this reality, Izzy never have had to deal with creative block (she had other reasons to travel to Briddlewood, finding the ruined vehicle that she unicycled back into a fully functional work truck). . The "Rainbow of Light" of Megan´s Locket has being translated to TYT as "The Heart of The Crystal Brighthouse" [ Izzy calls it "Crystal Be", just like how she shortened "Mister Butterscotch" to "Mister Be" ]. . It is likely the case that neither Spike nor the Dragonstone are going to be seen or mentioned again (at least not until 2026); since only after the Production of Episodes (in 2025) the team at Atomic Cartoons can start using the names of locations & characters from FiM (Seasons 5 to 9) WITHOUT paying Discovery Family a single dollar.

I almost forgot, just that saying you mentioned, #Falbak, about falling into the void, made me remember that similar moment where Pinkie Pie literally did the same thing in the 2017 MLP movie... until being saved by Twilight at the last second 😮😮. Although I doubt which of these 2 moments (Pinkie's or Izzy's free fall) sounded more shocking (or if anyone still remembered that past detail), but I admit that I am surprised by the positivity that they bring out of nowhere in the face of that risk. 🤔😬

This episode is amazingly good. Hope the seaponies and Hippogriff will make a return in the future series. It really feels like a 'destiny' for the Destiny and Izzy Moonbow to become fast friends like Princess Skystar and Pinkie Pie. And this also confirm that Izzy Moonbow could be a descendent of Pinkie Pie because of her Rainbow Powered Transformation.

I have thoughts on why dragons and now sea ponies have cutie marks. Thanks the Opaline we now know that cutie marks are connected to the unity magic that Equestria is built on, so back during when Twilight ruled and all the other species of Equestria and beyond joined together united in friendship (like we saw in “The Last Problem”) they all became apart of that unity magic (like how the tree of harmony called Spike in “Triple Threat”) and eventually evolved to have their own cutie marks (or in their cases cutie scales or fins or whatever they might have)

I suppose the plot of this season of TYT and later will include include gathering all the mystical creatures of the MLP world of all generations, which would be attractive and nostalgic for old fans. 👍👍

I'm gonna be honest I didn't think an Izzy centered special was going to be this good but I was pleasantly surprised with how it was handled. I don't know what it is but this version of 'can you feel the magic' is much better than the album one. I didn't think a show could make me care so much about a pony and her relationship with her creation (Senor B) but here we are. It's nice to finally know how Izzy gets her creative ideas work, now if only we could get an explanation for the sparkles. I really like how the others were clearly confused about Izzy's "BlockyWocky's" but still take her seriously, hence why I think Spike will always be the MVP of Lesson Zero. It's nice to see Allura taking Twitch advice into consideration good to know that the partnership isn't completely one-sided. I enjoyed seeing Starlight Ridge and a new auroicorn (even though it's not Comet)and the Isle of scaly again. We finally get to see are first sea pony who says "laughing is magic" is that an intentional Pinkie Pie reference 🧐? Even though I prefer the album version of "Let Your Magic Run Wild" this version wasn't too bad. I love how at the end Izzy admits she just made up wockblocky up. In conclusion an amazing special, I don't have any major complaints though I do feel certain points were a bit rushed and I wish the Allura side story was a bit longer like a quick 30 second flashback of sorts (I suppose that'll come later in the series) I do wish the final song was actually sung by the mane 6 and not just background to that I have to give the album version the win here. With all that being said Let's all give around of applause 👏👏👏👏 to Gretchen Mallorie for writing this first amazing special Episode rating: 10/10 •But seriously I need another Posey centered episode •WHERE THE BUCK IS COMET •It's a bit odd that we never seen this abandoned carnival before considering it's not that far from Maretime Bay •It's official the Brighthouse is somewhat sentient •Izzy seems to already know about sea ponies, weird

Allura be holding twitch like chrysalis did the twilight log and she went from living in the woods to living in a cave like Chrysalis. They have similarities both lost their homes and both know what it’s like to rule over others. Both are not all bad either. One cares for her pet rabbit and only friend while the other saved a pony from falling off a mountain who she despised earlier in the episode. The fact that pony was a filly makes the scene more heartwarming and actually gave chrysalis more character growth. They clearly have good qualities and understandable reasons for why they do what they do. Whether you agree with them or not. To them they are doing right and that’s something people don’t look at when talking about Mlp villains. They don’t look at things from their perspective to understand their motives better and their way of thinking. They judge actions but never consider reasons.

FIRST OFF LOVED THIS SPECIAL AND IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT but I have a couple questions so the Nova Charm can teleport you anywhere in Equestria or outside of it not just to Starlight Ridge and back? Also if the Nova Charm split to re-create the “Board Trot” is what they’re calling it that means the Charm is gone forever? Meaning not only are Allura and Twitch stuck in Maretime Bay but the portal back to Starlight Ridge just doesn’t exist anymore? ALSO also I just read the wiki and it says “Starlight Ridge is a village outside of Equestria” so it’s not another dimension like I originally thought (also the reason I thought it was another dimension was because Allura says THIS in the special and I quote “There must be someplace in this REALM that’s not so HOT!!”) so theoretically, they could use the Marestream to go to Starlight Ridge and back whenever they want just like how they went to the Dragon Lands with it? OW…BRAIN…HURTS….😂

Okay im going to say this but im thinking a reason why a tell your tale episode took this long to come out is the next episode they were working on was the special that is 22 minutes long like the lighting and animation look so clean plus 22 minutes is longer to work on then just 5 minutes Also i do like how they brought back blaize for this one glad dragon's did make a short cameo in this episode hope we get to see Leaf, Fountain, Luxxe in tyt style (plus spike maybe idk) and i surely hope we see Destiny and the maybe the other sea ponies soon

What can I say? This special was amazing! I really look forward to returning to the Jade Sea and Boardtrot. I know they’ll be the focus for the next few episodes. Then there’s the Nova Charm splitting up. This might answer some questions for S2 art I’ve seen that I won’t spoil, but I have to wonder what Allura’s plan is now as there’s no way this is the last we’ll see of her. TYT is back and with a vengeance and I hope it stays that way

Destiny was surely a nice treat in this special in my opinion. The question kinda remains now is, was she also a hippogriff? But will have to wait and see. Also it kinda looks like the team recycled some of the g4 seapony designs for her which I think is cool.

This special was truly ultra AWESOME! Holy cow, I can’t belizzle that Gretchen can write such amazing quality episode; guess the director and producer finally stop forcing her to write those idiotic stuff and let her write with her true potential writing style. Don’t worry mates; we will see seaequestria and Destiny again in the upcoming comic Set Your Sail. I don’t think Gretchen write all the special episode, Tom Gidman probably the write the next special since we only see one episode written by him for this season. For musical number: Feel the Magic: Talk about a great start of your day with such energetic song in High Musical School style. Let Your Magic Run Wild: I sense there a foreshadow this song going to play again in the future for an epic battle, this song have the same energy from Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman and Power Rangers songs whenever they are fighting the monster of the week.

Is it me or is the blockywockys kind of sounds like just another way of saying creative block like you know how in make your mark episode izzy does it izzy was starting to have creative block when she couldn't find a way to make sunny's gift more special for everypony and then in the same episode pipp started having the same problem for a bit so I just feel like they used a bit of that episode but at the same time try to mix it up a bit which is what I really like about this episode
