The Fact that this song was originally performed by Sting and written by Sting and Cheb Mami an Algerian singer/Songwriter of Algeria, neighbour country of Morocco where Faouzia is from is quite exceptional. Lyrics: Layli yaa layli yaaaah Hadee mudda tweela Wa ana n'hawes 'ala 'ala 'ala ghzalti Wa ana n'hawes 'ala 'ala 'ala ghzalti ... Wa ana n'hawes 'alaaaa ghzalti ... I dream of rain, ya leel ya leel I dream of gardens in the desert sand I wake in vain, ya leel leel I dream of love as time runs through my hand I dream of fire, ya leel ya leel These dreams are tied to a horse that will never die and in the flames, ya leel ya leel Her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire This desert flower, ya leel ya leel each of her veils, a secret promise This desert rose, ya leel ya leel No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this Amaan amaan amaaan I dream of rain, ya leel ya leel I dream of gardens in the desert sand I wake in vain, ya leel ya leel I dream of love as time runs through my hand I dream of fire, ya leel ya leel These dreams are tied to a horse that will never die and in the flames, ya leel ya leel her shadows play in the shape of a man's desire This desert flower, ya leel ya leel each of her veils, a secret promise This desert rose, ya leel ya leel No sweet perfume ever tortured me more than this Hadee mudda tweela Wa ana n'hawes 'ala 'ala 'ala ghzalti Wa ana n'hawes 'ala 'ala 'ala ghzalti Wa ana n'hawes 'alaaaa ghzalti

It’s harder to sing in Arabic, that is why she is so good in English, you should listen to the original song; Cheb Mami is hands down one of the best vocalists.
