When I was growing up Pop Punk was really popular and my older cousins listened to a quite a few of the bands from that era with some Hardcore Punk stuff mixed in occasionally. I didn't realize it at the time cause I just wanted to fit in with them but I was way more into the Hardcore/Emo stuff so I've been going on a journey listening to all of this stuff that I would've loved back then and this for sure would've been a go to for me for a long time. Even as an adult I'm blasting it while writing college papers lol.

Lyrics for Dartmouth Is it me or you who's talking this time? Is it anyone? How come my words Get stuck in my throat every time you're asking Promised myself this time. Promised myself to say what I was thinking. But some songs are better off unsung, No matter how honest. Yet sometimes we all must drop it, And now you're waiting promised myself this time, Promised myself not to say I am sorry. I think you know, but I am not sure, But sure as hell is that I won't ask, Can't tell now you would react and I don't want To do a test. I think I'll leave when I wake up.

The digital version (on spotify at least, i don’t use any other streaming services) has a blue cover and it seems a little faster. Was it originally released as red? How come they changed the color and the tempo? This will always be one of my favorite songs, i discovered it during my senior year of high school, it reminds me of all the fun shenanigans my friends and I got into, or of a hot sunny day in july or august spend lounging around the lake or river with the kind of intense, fleeting love interests we had during high school, or of countless other memories i will hold forever.
@SimonB. Жыл бұрын
I think the blue version was originally released on Carcrash records, the red one on Crank
@finsgar101 Жыл бұрын
songs were released only on vinyl if im not mistaken so any version online seems to be a digitized version of a vinyl could easily just be whoever uploaded this one or that version had a slightly slow/fast turntable. or that the US version (blue) was just messed up and printed slightly faster than the original.
