Far Cry 1: Realistic Full Game All Objectives No Binoculars Low Deaths Run (6 to be precise)

Hopefully you guys will enjoy the timeless classic experience that is Far Cry 1, for the moment I will stop running the game until further community patches make their way, but I think this run represents a great way to sense how challenging the game can be and how ahead of it's time the AI was in some situations! This is the non live version of the VOD, for archival purposes (since sometimes KZbin nukes live VODs for some reason, like with my RE4 run...)

Rewatching this again. Despite there being no shortage of FarCry playthroughs on KZbin, good ones are ridiculously few and far between.

I know right? Most of them don't even use at least the 64 bit patch to revert to 1.32 (for people who want an easy revert).

@@deus_nsf Well, it's not even that, it's just that many of them don't bother to at least consult PCGamingWiki for the most basic fixes, so they end up with a claustrophobic FOV, broken water reflections and wall-hacking mercs. Then the same silly people complain about the game being poorly designed. As for the 64-bit version, I've been reluctant to try it myself ever since I saw the so-called Enhanced Content that goes with that patch. The absolutely horrendous new terrain textures in Pier and Boat, as well as the pre-rendered cutscenes from FarCry Classic, are not welcome on my PC at all. They're supposed to be optional, but the patch is always mentioned in the context of those "enhancements", so I'm not so sure.

I havent played the original far cry game but damn this looks impresive. Great job. Wait a litle bit and this video is going to blow up. Keep up

man.. i enjoyed this game a lot when it came out 2004-2005, then years later trying out farcry 2 but i remember it being repetitive in some ways and it didn't bring the same kind of haunting vibe as the story progressed, but that must have been over 15 years ago now. now im wondering if the newer ones are worth playing. thank you for uploading this great gameplay

No binoculars? Lol, I play VR mod for the Far Cry and thanks to the way it's implemented I use binoculars all the time to spot what's behind the corner or over the wall without exposing myself, as some kind of looking mirror.

The binoculars are a fantastic OP tool that everyone should use, it is masochistic to not use them, which was the goal here, I like pain I guess lol.
