Ninja Gaiden 2 Master Ninja No Damage (WORLD FIRST)

This is a full no damage run of Ninja Gaiden 2 on Master Ninja difficulty by TheGodfatherDictator. A feat attempted before by amazing Chinese players, but not quite achieved to the degree you will see within this video. No damage will be taken and almost every fight will be included. A monstrous undertaking that few could ever hope to overcome. @@jrich7821 2's camera wasn't so bad. It's 1's camera and certain enemy layouts and slightly less responsive controls that accompanied it that makes NG2 the superior game in my opinion. I am happy to see this game is less about mastering and pulling off insane amounts of combos and more about keeping enemies locked down with strategically placed attacks. Makes me feel a little bit better about not varying my combos much. Good stuff in this video. Fucking nuts!

@@isaacmettle If you got a decent PC you could try emulating Sigma and Sigma 2 with RPCS3. I ripped my original PS3 copies of those games and they run pretty well on my gaming laptop. Of course, Sigma 2 took away a lot of the enemy numbers from the original NG2, but it was still pretty much the same game. I haven't tried Xenia emulator yet and I don't know if NG2 runs well on it.

So I remember playing this game and liking it a lot. It had just enough challenge in the lower difficulties to keep my interested. I thought I got pretty good and wanted to try Master Ninja. I got through to the spider ninja boss, and just got absolutely lit tf up by exploding projectiles. I remember thinking how dumb it was to have to fight the boss and that many minions. I flat out admitted that I did not have the time, skill, or patience to beat that boss. This has been one of the few games that has defeated me by sheer difficulty.

I am a dark souls veteran, I have played all the souls games and even bloodborn and have gotten to new game plus 7 and beyond in each game (which is the equivalent to the highest difficulty in other games). I made pvp builds pve co-op builds and when i got bored of that I even did weird challenge runs like pyro only, sorcery only, bow only, no death runs etc. I even beat darksouls 3 on new game plus 7 on my high level char by only using my fists. But this shit here is the most impressive run ive ever seen in a video game and i couldn't ever dream of doing this. Well done sir you are truly a god gamer for this!!

I remember that I got stuck on one of the demon portals. Believe me, I tried tons of times over the course of 2-3 days. Darn demon ninjas in yellow, the ones that when missing a limb, would jump and latch onto you and then blow themselves up with explosive shurikens. I got so frustrated that I chucked out the game disc out of my window and that was the end of it.

It's not stated but it's a segmented run. NG2 can't be beaten no damage since it's designed for you to take damage. You can see his playtime at the end of the run.

This is my game. I mean my favorite game, not literally my game. For folks who don't understand, just getting through this opening scenario against 4 or 5 exploding throwing ninjas, is a feat within itself. Don't believe me, play it and see how insanely hard it is just to kill them, not to mention, dude does it without taking damage. Incredible.

It just watched the main character mow down a dozen of his squad, none of whom ever landed a single blow, and yet, he still goes after Ryu, even though he watched his entire squad get killed and it lost an arm in the process. This is the most amazing no damage run on any game I've ever seen. I finished it on Master Ninja but I struggled and had to used a guide in some places. No even getting a hit in the entire game is something I never thought possible. Is this in one single playthrough? Congrats man

I don’t think it’s a single playthrough, otherwise he wouldn’t need to keep tracking back to save. He is certainly doing a fight and if he gets hit it resets and try again, then goes ahead But still this is inhuman

I beat this game so many times on the hardest difficulty back in xbox 360 era, But There is no way to attempt such thing, I know what it take to accomplish this, It's very time consuming, and it will take months of your life to achieve. I don't think i can do it even if i have all the time in the world. Good job 👍

I'd actually recommend the ps3 version, Sigma 2, because it's less unfair and has three more characters, but I'm in the minority.

You should definitely give it a try imho. The game isn't that brutal on normal difficulty but a LOT of room to improve. Also at least the Sigma 2 version I played still feels much more modern and smooth than the first game, but I guess that's a matter of preference.

This is still and will forever be one of the greatest games. I've ended Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 multiple times. I haven't ended Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge yet. I'm enjoying the journey though. I'm never giving up any of my Ninja Gaiden games. These are lifers.

Fun fact: at 57:44 I quit the first time I encountered this boss because he was so hard to me I assumed it was one of those fights where the game requires you to lose so I let him kill me lol. Imagine my surprise after realizing I actually had to kill him.
