Far Cry 5 - 3 outposts alone with no HUD

Copperhead Rail Yard, alone with no HUD, undetected.
Lorna's Truck Stop, alone with no HUD, no alarms.
Baron Lumber Mill, alone with no HUD, 2 tries, no alarms.
I have to admit, I didn't mind doing the Baron Lumber Mill twice at all. That map is apparently HUGE and it leaves a lot of ground to hide and sneak through. I totally plan to do that again one day without being seen.
As I do Copperhead, all I can think of is doing it in Far Cry New Dawn for some reason. It's where you recover Grace's stupid saw blade gun in New Dawn. It's actually quite a bit easier in 5. I feel like I did it in pure gangster style on purpose for once, not on accident. I ran that map like I owned it!
Lorna's Truck Stop could have been done better but I still enjoyed myself. I didn't try super hard to get it undetected but I did get close.

Could somebody please explain to me why this half hour video, that is one of my least favorite EVER of my collection, managed to get 38 of my 72 subscribers to me and thousands more views than any other video I have created?? Even my computer repair videos on my main channel don't have this many views (while they are the most viewed on that channel). I just don't get it. Did the KZbin algorithm grab this video and throw it into suggestions or recommendations? I'm truly curious. How did you get here?

@@bry.7z I recommend the compass, the icons on the compass (posts, quests etc) and also the icon of the companions if you have, I would also recommend health but that is already to your liking

Far Cry 5 is awesome, after you mod out the capture missions, the intro mission and the HUD. Far Cry 5 in vanilla makes me want to play Far Cry 3. 3 had the best story line.

​​@@nevynsgamingarena4353I agree that 3 had the best story But as I've said before, I played 3 extensively then ended up volunteering on an island in the Indian Ocean for about a year so I'm partial to 3 because where I was living looked so similar to it that it was borderline creepy. I still play 3 sometimes and it's so close that it helps me relive the memories of that stint in Madagascar when I play it. I play 5 specifically for the gameplay mechanics and just ignore the story. 5s physics are the best I've seen in a game and I wander around the world as a way to wind down after work

The Far Cry New Dawn Scavenger mod has a hundred choices in it, you just check off the changes you'd like to make and install them all when you get to the end. I could not possibly name all the ones I have installed, mostly for aesthetic changes and to make it harder for me.

Actually, glad I'm late to reply to this because I just learned a bunch more this evening than I was about to tell you. I use a mod. If I recall, it was not one of the included things in the Scavenger mod installer at Nexus Mods, it was at Nexus but it was something extra that you have to find and install. This evening, however, derpy der, I went through the settings and found that you can turn almost EVERYTHING off just the same in the Interface options. I played around with that, leaving just the compass and ammo count, but eventually turned it all off for recording. Great question, really, go check out the Interface options and see what I mean, if you don't care to put in the mod.

You know, when I first jumped into the game, I thought it was very boring, but something grew on me and made me redownload it, after watching gameplay, I realize that you need to actually do things in the game to make it fun, like trying new guns, new guns, going hunting, going fishing, no hud, and after actually giving it a shot. It's one of the multitude of options within the Far Cry 5 mod installer from Nexus Mods. I have one for 5, New Dawn and 6. Far Cry 5's is called Resistance mod. Far Cry New Dawn's is called Scavenger mod. Far Cry 6's is so blandly called FC6ModInstaller, lol, just that straight forward.

Adding outfits/vehicles/weapons from other Far Cry Games, improving the ballistics of the weapons to make them more realistic and useful like the incredible zoom distance on my sniper scope or the invariably more destructive shotgun and dynamite I carry, changing the color of your climbing rope, reticle, loot bags/boxes, enemy outfits. You can change your inventory level, jump height, walk/run speed. Mind you, if you want to jump ridiculously high like a cartoon character, I suggest using WeMod. I have made the cult members basically rich so looting them is way more lucrative than vanilla. I have the AlleyRat outfit from Far Cry New Dawn on my character. I have Better Ballistics installed for the weapons improvement and "Better Hunting" added in to make the animals get injured and run away, eventually limping and/or collapsing, rather than just drop dead like a game. It makes you have to run after them sometimes, kind of like a real hunting game. I have also increased the number of enemies that I run into, increased their ability to detect me and implemented double damage, to them and to me. It has way more options than I care for. I'm just trying to make ALL Far Cry games harder for me since I've been dominating them in my personal styles all for over a decade.

As I looked at my full page of stats last night for the first time and I realized that I've slaughtered over 10,000 people in the game (1,200 by headshot and just as many by takedown), over 400 outposts taken and just as many perk points earned, I must agree with you. It's a good game! lol

The ragdolling ruins the immersion. You hit that guy on the ladder around minute 8:00... just before of it, and the NPC is blown away... no way. Is that really what ubisoft has released? I can't believe it. Rare to find players like this, I always look for realism immersive friends but it's hard to find. Another thing that should be removed is the celebration screen at the end of the completion... No HUD Team DNH 17

@@nevynsgamingarena4353 I saw in general other videos and ragdoll is consistent with realism, and it's good. it's a pity here and there there are these issues... (bug can be there but a constant with some type of kills isn't cool). Yeah... actually Celebration would improve gameplay (in some cases can be ok.. but for max immersion it's better to remove...) There are so many people playing cinematic games\or making a cinematic gameplay and then ruining it all with useless prompts or other widgets stuff that designers did not "part" dividing it by style they just steam rolled who wants immersion. Unfortunately games are not anymore played by devs... they just release them and beta testing is outsourced on a paying crows (actual releases) and then finance and analysts just keep the rudder of the entire production

@@nevynsgamingarena4353 yeah.. that is why we are armed with mods and generally more people will grow some taste because that is for sure lacking too, and yeah, there are 5 factors that define in cultural management success and failure or better and worsening offer: -verticalized posture or not, -gate keeping of talents (devs\management), -format use (dejavu, uniformation of product to competition and previous release so people play same same stuff), -repository reuse (how much is repository how much is newly created stuff... Ubisoft.. ehm ehm), -how much distribution and promotion accent is put around a game (UBISOFT! Ehm ehm)... Who says MTX are here and should not be a problem for those who don't want to use them, they have no idea what is gaming, what they are saying, they are just trolls unleashed for more of that drug to destroy the game design. Creating skins, mtx systems and so on is a COST, a COST means that a company invests, puts money onto something during development and from that expects a revenue: the more money come from MTX the more YOU DON't need to make a good game. Sorry to evangelize but this stuff is crucial, the problem is that news are mostly 99% corrupted especially in gaming I mean.. but like all rest nowadays it's mainly propaganda. And for the rest audience are mainly based on great ignorant masses.

Agreed. I never even finished 6 and have little care to do so. I'm putting up Primal recently at multiple viewer requests but New Dawn is my baby. 5 looks the best and has a decent story driven game play but I hate it the most without the "capture me and force me to do crap" modded out, which you can very much accomplish and it makes the game more enjoyable. what are your specs? Are you playing below 60fps?

My computer keeps changing over time so I adapt the settings to make the recording as clean a quality as I can. This video you've commented on is rather old so my rig was still capable of recording at 3440x1440 at an "attempted" 60 fps but I noticed that I tend to only hit about 48 fps on average. The quality settings at the time were on Ultra but I have since learned that setting it to High gives me a much more stable frame rate, just slightly lower. Currently, and I guess my GPU is getting overworked at this stage in it's life (GTX 980), but I have put the game on a SSD and set OBS to record to a different SSD and my quality has improved. Currently, near the end of 2023, I am recording in 3440x1440 with High quality settings and the frame rate capped at 30 fps. My settings change every few months, to be honest. Without buying a newer GPU, I'm afraid it will only become more difficult. To answer your question in a more geeky fashion: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, clocked at just under 4Ghz TUF Gaming X570 MOBO 32 GB of G-Skill DDR4 RAM (overkill, I know, but that's for other programs) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti GPU OBS settings: Output->Recording: Format: MKV or FLV as they record raw with less resources than other formats (for my rig) Encoder: NVIDIA NVENC H.264 Rate Control: VBR -min bitrate: 8,000 Kbps -max bitrate: 60,000 Kbps Preset: Slowest (Best Quality) Tuning: High Quality Single Pass mode, no Look-ahead, no Psycho Visual Tuning

@@nevynsgamingarena4353 im guessing you are using the 1080p monitor for gaming, since you are getting 40-60fps Well, that gpu that you have is extremely weak so if you have the money and want, i would upgrade it but thats just me. The 32GB of ram isn't overkill, since you are a youtuber you'll def need it. Honestly, a 6600 gpu is very cheap used.

Believe me, RTX 4070 Ti is in my sights, I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. The 980 was a gift from an ex-boss to replace my AMD 7770 HD card. I have always been behind the times with my computers because I'm so good at fixing them up from trash. This is my first paid for and custom built rig, though I have no idea why I bought an 1100 watt PSU, lol. Ready for anything! Anyway, I'm thinking the RTX series should push me up a notch.

@@nevynsgamingarena4353 don't get the rtx 4070 ti, rx6800 is just a bit below that and i got it for 400$. (while offering 16gb) If i were you i would go for a 4080 or 7900xtx, you can get one for the same price as a 4070ti and it offer so much more performance. Seriously crazy that it's only 12gbs for a 1k+ gpu. It's a scam.
