This creeped me out. Normally with the writing of farcry 5 I acknowledge the evil Edens gate is doing but resonate and agree with a Lot of their message. You took Joseph in a different direction and made him vengeful and...like finally fully snapped instead of forgiving. I like it

The Far Cry: New Dawn pushed me to this idea - after we meet a Deputy and see her condition. She is silent and completely subject to Joseph. She even cries when one of her companions recognizes her/him.

@@JackMarvin yeah something must have happened. A mixture of what you showed and the fact that the deputy murdered countless people protecting and doing what she thought she was supposed to. Only to be wrong about the end of time. I dunno. I'm saddened and glad they went with that idea. Basically it's the consequences of farcry 5 that the Judge represents. Not everyone heals. Technically not even Joseph did, his son was affected by his sin as well. Not that Ethan didnt choose his own path but you know what I mean? Cycles are hard to break

Yes, I know what you mean. It is impossible to destroy something in the hope that it will not grow again. As Joseph planned to allow only righteous into the world. What sins does not manifest itself when the wicked die. But, alas, it doesn't work that way. And Yes, the Deputy was responsible for so many deaths from her actions - both for directly killing cultists and for all those who might have ended up in the bunkers if the Deputy hadn't blown them up. It broke her, too. Awareness of her actions.

@@JackMarvin honestly....sorry I'm still talking I just like ya. You have a good head on your shoulders. The writing for 5 and parts of what led into New Dawn is some.of the best writing out there. I mean it could have been just as awesome in a show akin to walking dead or gotham.

It made me uncomfortable though with the woman crying. That shit really turns me off. But like I get the point you wanted to express the horror of the moment and what it must have been like living with Joseph for 7 years underground

Yes, exactly. The deputy had a hard time in the bunker with Joseph. He wanted to "open" her eyes, but at the same time was very angry because of his family, which she destroyed in the end in vain.
