it's not an easter egg you can do this before you fight her I did it and it was the same as after you fight her it just the Bliss playing with your mind that makes you hear her and see her shadows how ever with that being said I do believe she didn't die but went in to hiding for fear of failing the Feather their is a few pieces of evidence that points to her being alive like the fact none of her follower mention her death after you defeat her like they do with john and Jacob also you don't find a body hell I carried john body back to the church after I killed him and you can mark Jacobs death location and go back to it but faith is just missing theirs also a code in the game that replaces her name that with Rachel Seed witch suggests she is either alive using her old name if you remember joseph even said she wasn't the first faith he gave others that name in the past she was just the most devoted or their was suppose to be another Seed family member they didn't put into the game there are some who also believe that Rachel from far cry 6 is faith seed anyway to sum it all the cave side quest isn't proof she is alive seeing as you can do it at any point in the game after finding the NPC who gives you the location on any note I believe she survived but I'm sure we will never know unless we make a bigger deal about it and the developers tell us or make a real easter egg to prove or disprove the theory. P.S. she was scared of joseph and wanted to get away from so after your fight with her seemed like the perfect time to fake your death and go into hiding keep that in mind. but fun video well done , even if it is on PS

Same happened to my brother I told him she was alive but didn't expect that it was proof My explanation is she got sick of all the cult stuff So she stayed here in here 'very secret bunker' till the nuclear bomb Where she escaped using something because there's a similar character in farcry new dawn Called Selene and she was talking about quote on quote 'HERBS' this could meant that she *Faith* changed her name for the 3rd time and the rest is history

Me and my friend are huge far cry fans and we found this. I was shocked when I saw this man..

Rachel is also coded into far cry 5 before new dawn dlc even dropped and her last name is seed also but the bunker isn't proof seeing is you can do it anytime Selene is also though to be Rachel aka faith seed but they look or act nothing alike

but. theres a note in the Angels Grave prepper stash with a note saying how faith seed was dissolved into the acid.

I will say that I don't think the Selene in New dawn is faith they are way to different in body shape personality and also faith's eyes where green not brown also she brown hair not red also she had freckles the two just don't match up and the time gap from FC5 and new dawn was joseph 42 in FC5 and 52 in New dawn 17 years later so we know faith was 24 in FC5 witch would make her 41 or 42 and Selene looks like she is in her late 20s at the most maybe pushing 30 but not 40s not even mid or late 30s I cant see it
