Because they mostly did only pagan voices in fc4 and people hated that we didn't meet him more. In fc5 we meet lots of villains but it was through constant kidnapping and it felt even more bad and unrealistic. In fc6 we hardly met the main villian. So this is why they do ghostly hologram thing.

It's easy and re-uses uses in-game assets, only new thing is the writing. Far Cry 5 had a map editor, all the Kyrat assets were available from there.. which is also why Far Cry 6 looks less than impressive graphically.

Idk why Far Cry games can't just give us added dlc for the main campaign. Just give us a new side story with new weapons, acheivments, that plays like the normal game. Far Cry 5 is amazing but the dlc is complete garbage. Far Cry 6 has a cool idea with playing the villains but then they messed it up by making it a Rouge lite. Just give us an expansion that plays like the base game.
