Quick note, the games tend to have repeat animations, so the reason why far cry 5 was so short was because they were only showing off animations that *debuted* in that specific entry. Hopefully this makes sense!

Actually, that's not true, those 3 healing animations that were shown were the ONLY ones in Far Cry 5, so yeah, 5 had subpar healing animations as much as it pains me to say because I love the game.

I think one of the 'plausible' reasons FC5 healing animations was so boring is because the player is a rookie deputy of the sheriff's department, which means out of all the protags, he actually has professional first aid training and won't do all the unsanitary and somewhat ill-advised "first aid" we've seen thus far. Then again it could just be Ubisoft being lazy.

I remember watching one of my cousins playing Far Cry 2 and they did the animation where they twisted the hand back and straightened the pinky. We all collectively cringed at the sight of it. 😂

With the animation from Far Cry 4, he used a cigar to courtorise the wound to prevent blood loss, which is why it looked like his thumb was on fire

Yeah... The concept of the human body can be terrifying when it comes to Far Cry healing animations. Btw, the difference with Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is that Blood Dragon is based off the 1980s action movies like Terminator or Robocop with a lot of comedy on it. Actually the weapons the character was using are the same weapons that appear in said movies. You got the A.J.M 9 and the Kobracon from Robocop, then you got the Galleria (which is the lever-action shotgun that appears in Terminator 2: Judgement Day), you have the minigun that appears in Predator, you name it, the list goes on. Ubisoft really nailed it with Blood Dragon. It's a short game, only having about 7 missions but the side-quests are a blast to complete.

Another one you guys could react to is some of the Villains from the Far Cry series, you'll find plenty of their scenes on YT I promise. A fun thing about them and, this could be personal bias, but I actually found all of the Far Cry villains from 3 to 6 charming in their own ways. My favorites of course were Vass and Castillo (played by Michael Mando and Giancarlo Esposito respectively) with the Seeds being a third (Pagan is his own thing)

ugh these animations remind me of the splinter our kitchen table gave me. I was gonna rest my left arm on it but i missed and just hit the edge of the table feeling a sharp sting in my elbow which had a splinter the size of my middle finger pretty deep in there. Far cry 2 is so detailed that your gun can actually jam and you will have to go through this animation to get it not jam. That means you wouldn’t be able to shoot to it is done.

The tape they use is Gauze haha and in fc4 he Ajay pulled out a match to cauterize the wound it wasn't his thumb haha. Also fc5 and on I don't count as a normal far cry anymore they changed so much. Fc5s story is actually decent. Fc new dawn I barely played. Fc6 I haven't beaten yet but gameplay wise it's better then 5 and new dawn idk about story yet
