my 2 tips if you need major ethanol is to buy level 3 lmg and to keep taking over a base on level 3 to get alot of ethanol, i use the boar for help since he can take explosives well, dog works too but is easier to get killed due to not being able to throw and insta kill. to redo the bases you have to go up to this blue square icon once you take it over and go to the option not highlighted in red once you go to it it will restart the base and you just beat it and get 300 ethanol. now i got around 2000 ethanol from grinding it, and for the weapons themselves heres where all the ethanol comes in handy. you can buy all the Intel maps from bean if you saved him. but make sure you also go to prosperity and upgrade it to max level including everything else, if you grinded enough ethanol you should be able to do it no problem. then buy all the intel maps for all the animals and other locations. for motherboards you need to hunt a level 4 buffalo, id highly advice to craft a level 4 lmg buzzsaw, all the parts you should be able to. hunt monster bison to get alot of motherboards and for titanium you have to hunt monster black bears and monster grizzly bears. just hunt them and skin them and sell them to any shop and thats how you get parts for all the guns in the game and ethanol to buy everything in the game early.

Don't waste ethanol on the cartographer. You will have all the locations of treasure hunts within a couple hours, the guy at the home base has a new one pretty much every time you return. The other stuff is all over the place and so abundant that I never needed to go looking for specific gear let alone waste ethanol to tell me where it is. Save ethanol for upgrading the weapons workbench, infirmary, training camp, and level 2 expedition, level 3 is unnecessary.

Treasure hunts can be completed almost straight away without any gear. I did all 10 of them before starting the story missions. Free 30 perk points, and 400 credits let me buy an elite weapon.

Stay away from the cartographer upgrade in Prosperity. It’s the biggest waste of ethanol in the early stages

Lol 4 top perks to unlock first- grapple + lockpick or grapple + repair so you can loot easily. Then extra weapons so you can unlock perk points more quickly early. After this fishing and hunting perks (more loot and perk points)

Oh god tips tips 1)use the knife throw when you dont have lvl 2 takedown which has a damage amount of 450 2)use bows when hunting coz it gives you double skins and meat 3)join in the club get the things 4)upgrade the expedition facility to at least lvl 2 as fast a possible 5)and horatio if you read this 1 go and unlock him

New Dawn 15 things it doesn't tell you #1 it's fucking awesome, and heaps of fun. #2 You will miss Faith Seed and her cheeky laugh and crazy eyes #3 You will feel sad for Falls End and The Deputy #4 The Judge is the Deputy and the Deputy is the Judge #5 The menu theme music "Hope County" is one of the best themes in the series #6 The Judge does more than grunt when he is on the 50 cal on a Jeep #7 Upgrade the maximum ammo you can carry early because it is annoying running out of ammo often #8 Whilst modding weapons being gone is annoying, upgrading existing weapons 500 times is hilarious. You wont complain about bullet sponges when you can drop someone in one shot with a super upgraded gun. #9 most people who make fun of the game have never played it, and if they did, they arent a Far Cry fan. And if they are, they are lying. #10 one of the funnest parts of the game is roaming the map and stumbling upon a place and thinking to yourself "hey isnt that this place?" You will be amazed at how different some of the places are. Rae Raes pumpkin farm for instance. #11 whilst the game looks woke, it is actually just a smoke screen. There are no bs sjw propaganda being pushed. The game is literally cause mayhem and save some people. #12 while the map looks like only the bottom corner of FC5s map, John Seeds region, it is actually a condensed version of FC5s map with some no go zones. So travelling can still take ages without a helicopter #13 the blood dragon pistol is amazing #14 the game deserves more credit #15 you will feel like less of a fool paying the money its asking when buying this game, then you did when you bought anthem or fallout 76

This is my first far cry game and I am so far loving it but, in my opinion there are certain game design flaws that cannot simply be ignored 1. Someone turned fall damage up to 400% it is ridiculous 2. When dealing with demon fish , at least for me the game tells me to for example spam left what they actually mean to say is spam the d key for example 3. Grappling hook, binoculars, more ammo , dexterity, covert etc are amazing but from my personal experience wing suit is an absolute death sentence but that is just my opinion 4. Get nana , when you get to an outpost climb up a high spot paint her targets and mark them and she will take them all out for you

Honestly, the binoculars are not needed in New Dawn. Get the dog first, send him in any area and he will mark everything. Since he is just a dog running around, the highwaymen don't pay attention to him.

thanks for posting I notice that udon't get tear 1234 weapons you have to get materials that are laying around to build them. your self. I found The best way to get the first lot of perks is to start building tear 1 weapons found in the challenge menu. Then just travail along any of the main roads and the hy-way man will show up or cut across you path. After you kill a number of highwayman with the the challenge weapons you can up grad the perks you got. then build more weapons You use tear 1 weapon to liberate out post and you don't need silencers
