So the “Bigfoot skeleton” is actually more likely someone who ate the fruit that Joseph found and wasn’t “clean of sin” and couldn’t fight their own demons off (like Joseph’s son at the end). There are also quite a few more of them scattered around the north end of the map.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF FAR CRY NEW DAWN The sasquatches in the North could be the remains of people who ate the sacred fruit but had an unclean soul. When Ethan eats the fruit, the monster he turns into has the same build as the sasquatch corpses in the North and also the sasquatches from other Far Cry games.

It all makes sense now! The “loose arrow” from ghost recon wild lands was the missing nuke that Joseph seed had stolen for far cry 5. When Sam showed up he said he had to track it down back in the wildlands dlc. Now that his plane had crashed from that nuke that had gone missing... I believe this is setting up a new splinter cell game!
