This is honestly one of the more underrated DLCs. Btw the Resistance mod can improve the combat to include knife takedowns so you don’t have to worry about being stuck with a bamboo stick.

Even though vietnam is a collection of tropical islands and is located in the tropics. All the thumbs ups show how stupid people are. Ngl, I actually enjoyed this DLC. You really have to rely on guerilla tactics because the NVA is everywhere, and you have limited resources. Very different feel from your usual Far Cry game. I was hoping to get a silenced sniper rifle when I got the silenced pistol and game said that most silenced guns are in bunkers littered with enemies, but funny enough, the silenced sniper rifle I got was in a hut.

Going a long all nice and quiet and then your new freed teammate out of no where is like we’ve got company at the top of his voice and randomly starts firing 😂😂 In all seriousness tho for a game from 2004 this looks and plays well, I enjoyed it . Great video 😊

Awesome gameplay! I totally forgot about This DLC and I remember really enjoying it when I played it! I am a big far cry fan but 6 was a letdown for me. This Vietnam DLC beats far cry 6 in my opinion.

4:04 really....?!?! the NPCs don't see you???!?!?! .. you can be 5-6 feet away, putting a flashlight right at them, and they STILL don't see you!.... THIS is why I HATE some games... the NPCS are blind, and THEY MARK ALL THE ENEMYS!!!! and its FAR too easy!. takes alllll the fun out of it.... made for 6 year old's type difficulty..

fuck this DLC, it's okay if it just the game with full of bloody animations and creative stories, but if this is based on the REAL history, then Vietnamese with the redflag and golden star have fought for freedom that they naturally should have, and some of scenes and converstions in this DLS is not true, they're NOT murderers, they protected their land and their nation.

My mom is from Vietnam and her family feared the north Vietnamese because they hated anyone who fought for the south. My mom own dad served in south Vietnam army and he hated the communist regime of the north. He knew the south Vietnam government was equally corrupt. But he did not want to fight for communism. Plus apparently my mom told me her family had some connection to the south Vietnam royal family distant but my mom and her whole family were marked for death. After South Vietnam lost the war after the USA pulled out. My mom family fled to the USA. They became civilians of the USA it took them time but they gave everything up to enter the USA because the Vietcong would have killed all of them if they went back. My mom and her family say its because if the US Military they survived and escape. And my mom to this day still despises the current Vietnam government she has nothing good to say of them. And she refuses to ever go back. She doesn't even like her Vietnamese heritage either. And the rest of her family no longer care for there old culture.

Could be something behind the scenes, knowing Ubisoft and how they handle most DLCs, I'd say it's low budget with barely any development time. You can see how they cut corners, for example that 1911 he is using is modern version, not something you would find during Vietnam war. It's just a lot of reused assets put together to make it look like Vietnam war, like that helicopter wreckage, that's a modern helicopter you can find in the base game, Americans back then used UH 1 Huey and this looks nothing like it. But it's surely not lack of research, because the helicopter in that comic intro is UH 1. So to answer your question, I think they just got someone to do the voice as quickly as they could to meet their deadlines, resulting in poor quality.

This game looks tight , im hust getting back into video games ( left off playing manhunt & vice city on ps3 😂 bcuz I'm financially comfortable retired B4 age50) and got a ps5 & yea i suck azz @ playing so enjoy watchung the walkthrus lol - really cool game - good news is since o been out if the game ( no pun intended) so iong i have like 100 fps /3rd person games i need to catch up on & i like the zombie genre games too ( unlike ALOT of gaming vetrans ) aniyt a month ago i bought a ps5 pro - dudbt want to get a PC ( ikno ikno pc is better value yada yada yada) due to the fact i didnt want to have to tinker & upgrade & dont want to buy a game & have it run like 💩 on my PC - onmy thing that shcks is theur are a lot of indie fps id like to play but cant on the PS5 - oh well 1st world problems 😂
