You should play at the Nick Drake Festival in England! Errors? No way in my experience on your musical journeys.

I listen to one Nick Drake at a time as I find listening to more than one painful for me. He was too close to the human sou at least my soul. But I digress. This is REALLY SUPER and although I'm not familiar with Far Less I know its Nick's home but wow you are impebbable. Really You SHOULD go the Nick Drake festival

Hi Sam, Great rendition of this Nick Drake song.. Your guitar has an amazing tone and looks great - Just curious - What Make and Model is it? Thanks, Wez

Hi Wez and thank you, I appreciate your kind words. It is a Levin LS-18 (1962).

Nice cover, did you learn to play that by ear?
@sam-lynch4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Indeed, ‘Far Leys’ and ‘Hanging On A Star’ are the Nick Drake pieces I learnt by ear; all other Nick Drake covers I rely heavily on Chris Healy’s transcriptions, all of which you may find on his site; nickdraketabs.co.uk/

@@joandelarosa6630 DAGDAD I beleive, with capo in 4th.
@sam-lynch4 жыл бұрын
This is in DADGAD. Nishal Rai is correct in that you would be closer to the original if you capo at 4th, however I have capo on 2nd for I prefer the tone this creates. Sorry your comments didn't show in my notifications when you originally posted them. Take care.
