Both versions slap, but I feel that the Panic version works better. The narrator in that version legitimately feels like he loves the person he's singing to, which feels more in line with a chorus that's basically saying "Just give me a kiss while we're young enough to not give a fuck about consequences."

Anything Brobecks always has a bit of a sinister edge to it, and I think that's a huge appeal of it
