Farali Fries is a yummy recipe to try out and enjoy during the Navratri festival. You can enjoy this yummy farali recipe with dahi or with farali chutney. This gujarati farali recipe is very easy to make and is the taste is simply amazing. You can also prepare this farali fries for your upvas. This fries recipe in Gujarati is prepared using sabudana and boiled potatoes. Some simple condiments this yummy gujarati recipe for upvas is ready.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 Cup Sabudana (Sago)
3-4 Boiled Potatoes
1.5-2 Teaspoon Green Chilli (Hari Mirch)
2 Tablespoon Peanut (Singdana) Powder
1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Salt
Oil
Procedure:
1. Grind sabudana coarsely in mixer grinder.
2. Take it in a mixing bowl, add cumin seeds, green chilli paste, peanut powder and mash the boiled potatoes in it. Add salt and mix well. Make a dough out of it.
3. Grease a board with ghee. Take a portion of dough and flatten it on the board. Make it even from all sides and keep it little thick. Now cut it into long pieces like french fries.
4. Deep fry the fries in oil. Make it nice crispy and golden brown. Farali Fries are ready.
