Faraway Review - Chairman of the Board

I watched some other reviews. Seems like an oke filler. Sometimes you get lucky, but it is a short game so you can play another game after that. I think i would like this game but i find it a bit high in cost. 24 euros in the netherlands for such a small game is too high for me.

This have some engine building mechanics and just the left to right and vice versa turns - Nothing much interesting to say it as Wow. I will give this a miss and will enjoy other engine building games such as Splendor duel. Also Strong recommendation to check out Harvest (from For games) and Catsle Builders trick taking game.. Both are really simple but awesome games. Just check it out.

I think I'll pass on this one - seems too luck dependent and can leave unsatisfied feelings after cards don't combo well. Also, the scoring from right to left looks like a gimmick to me - while the number of cards to the right and related scoring opportunity scales up as you flip over cards moving left, each card in the row scores the same regardless of the sequence in which they are evaluated. In such a saturated game market, I desire better.
