He was a very personable presenter, a great communicator and certainly forms part of my TV memories. BTW his name was spelt Serle.

Totally agree, I only recently found out from my dad about his passing. Genuinely upset, he was a major educational presence for my generation. RIP Chris.

Rest in peace Chris. I remember him from Greek Language And People with Katia Dandoulaki. He'll be missed.
