Farewell Cross Country Intercity 125 HST Compilation 2017 - 2023

Sit Back & enjoy this compilation video 2 Hours + long where this feature's all my takes from filming Cross Country Intercity 125 Sets over the years from 2017 to the last day of service on the 18th September 2023 from various locations that Cross Country from Southwest England to the North of England & Scotland. Comfortable journey's which will sadly be missed on British Rail's. Cross Country operated 12 Class 43 Power cars and had a total of 40 Mark 3 Carriages. This video features different liveries that was done prior to them to be out of service in September such as Intercity Executive, Intercity Swallow & Intercity Blue & yellow.

@@BensPlanesTrainsProductions indeed, only XC are now getting 7 ex Avanti 221’s (when released) to bolster the XC fleet in the absence of the HST’s 🤔 XC have also announced a new daily Cardiff to Edinburgh direct Voyager service to start when they fully acquire the extra sets 🤔 Keep up the good work filming….still a few GWR Castle sets around for now 😀👍🏽

@ejc7129 yeah at the moment it's 7 Voyagers, reckon it will be more, will wait and see. Got plenty of time yet to plan till December 2024. We have some GWR HST's to running, not many yet.
