'It shouldn't be a revolution to love one another' absolutely punched me in the gut

6.24 oh my word! Yes! That's exactly what Simon wants for the last time together - to bring it back to basics and remember why they fell in love in the first place. The Lake Scene, for them, was a cleansing and rebirth, stripping them of all the baggage and pressure put on them by outside forces. Reminding them who they are and why their love exists!

I don't know if you know but the lake scene was actually completely improvised by Omar and Edvin on their last (or one of the last) day of shooting. It was them going over their years doing this but seeing it through Wille and Simon's eyes. (Also "He's prince Harry-ing. He's prince Harry-ing? Where is Megan Markle?!" had me dying 😂)

It is so amazing how in touch Edvin and Omar were with their characters and with the audience. Edvin improvising singing the song that took everyone back to the beginning was a magnificent choice.

That we weren't entirely sure if it was romance or sad coming-of-age until the very end. Actually it is both, isn't it? And Omar brought it this season with the acting. Those tears at the end... Said a thousand things.

YES!!! I'd been wiping small tears up tl then, but when Simon wept with joy, the dam burst.

I'm so glad you loved it! I agree the writing should be studied and I hope Lisa Ambjörn will do some sort of master class because I've never been this invested in characters or their story. They really earned their happy ending. It's still so hard to rewatch certain scenes, like the lake 😢 but i still love them, and you were right about "it takes a fool to remain sane"! This show seriously changed a lot in my life. I started learning Swedish and went to Sweden for the first time for the YR finale in Stockholm if that gives an idea of how much I adore this show. 😊 Thank you for reacting and sincerely loving it so much too!

We've all sob that march 18th evening!!! Also during the event where they show that episode and the documentary, Edvin (Wille) said that the fandom of this show was studied in one the swedish uni. Maybe soon they'll also offer a study of this beautiful love story and the many layers of the show. I love your reactions. Take care.

I love your reactions, especially when you go ”film maker brand” on us. I agree that this is one of the best stories ever scripted, sound tracked and acted. Then again Swedish film in the early days (1920s) were exceptional. This is that. A class act. In three parts. Young Royals need to be taught. In master class. History has been made. ❤🎉

The gay angels getting their wings 😂 Ngl, I was shipping Felice and Sara by the end. Their friendship is everything! And where’s Meghan Markle threw me there haha! Needed that moment of levity to balance the tears. Because yes, I’m sobbing along with you. Can’t believe it’s over. Thank you so much for your brilliant reaction as always. Hope you love the doc - I cried watching that too so you definitely did the right thing holding off watching it after the finale! Hugest hugs!

Heyy Brittany, I have recently found a very new danmei drama that I really recommend to you: The Spirealm 致命游戏. It is adapted from the novel Kaleidoscope of Death, by my second favourite danmei author Xi Zi Xu (we all know who the first is). It is the best horror/survival game Danmei novel in my opinion. The drama is so gay that it only survived on the Chinese Internet for 2 hours, and it is really high quality, amazing scene set, nice music, and good acting with hot boys!!! If you can find a way to watch it somewhere with English subtitles you will be impressed
