My initial idea for this video was to make a OneShot anime ending, but the scope of that was way too big, so it evolved into this. I'm still happy with how it turned out, though! Please enjoy.

I really want to comment early but I don't know what to say. The animation is awesome and the effort you put is fantastic, the music is amazing, and the idea is incredible. Edit: I just noticed the way Niko walks out of the border referencing Niko walking all the way to the bottom of our screen/monitor to go home. That's a very clever detail. I’ve been on a oneshot animation binge lately, and I’ve realized how much this game means to me. My friend forced me to play it, so I gave it a whirl on his save and did my own run. I chose to save the world- and I still regret that decision. This is one of the only games that actually made me care, and feel regret. I wanted to play Solstice, and it was one of the main reasons why I downloaded Steam on my computer. Played Solstice, it was nice, but it didn’t stick with me immediately.. It was a slow process. I constantly thought of the game, I got the Niko plush and day by day, I would realize and remember more about the game. I genuinely miss it now. I want more out of it. Shame that the pancake episode isn’t on steam (and costs money).. I’ll play that immediately once it’s on steam. This game actually changed me. It played a big part in my life. So.. Thank you Oneshot. And thank you friend, who wanted me to play this so badly. Not gonna lie.. I started to get the brainblasts and emotions at 1:29 (especially since I really like Eleventh Hour/On Little Cat Feet, I listened to those songs so much. Trailer Theme could count as well though.)

OneShot, it seems to me, is the same soulful game as undertale, they are like parallel worlds, only undertale is an RPG, and OneShot is a puzzle, but after both there is a pleasant longing, because this story is over.

I would say they're only superficially similar due to the "rpgmaker walking sim" theme, although I understand where you're coming from, since UT is popular enough to be an overarching pop culture force that kind of took over that theme, lol.

Now, I love Lamplighter, in fact he's one of my favorites. And I was expecting to see the Solstice cast like perhaps Rue, Cedric, or maybe Cedric- but the World Machine leading the end is much more fitting if you ask me. Looking up at the very world he sought to destroy, but holding himself back all for the sake of the little goober. As always, the video is beautiful.

Oneshot is the only game i know for my whole life i mean just look at this adorable cat carrying that lightbulb carefully for his whole journey . its just melted my heart like a cheese man i love it . may your popularity be remembered for y whole life and the others
