Farewell To An Icon

The first of Subway’s legacy fleet has left the depot after serving passengers for more than 43 years!
We are sorry to see these much - loved carriages go however we continue to welcome the new fleet on board with more trains entering service soon!

Travelled on one of the final units today 106 on the Inner circle for a final "shoogle" round the circle, these will be much missed!

It's absolutely disgraceful how botched the recent 'upgrades' have been. The service is slower than ever, still inaccessible, the doors take 10 seconds to open-close (adding a significant time to journeys), the new trains have fewer handles and so people are constantly being thrashed around, the station upgrades were never completed... the list goes on. SPT is unfit for purpose
