Farfa definitely, part of what makes card advantage so important is that it gives you more options to combat each situation. Each guy in the grave he can copy is another card he can use, it's basically like look at the top X cards of your deck and put one into your hand, the versatility of such effects makes unfair things possible, not even considering loops and ftks, that's prob why they hit this and not the fusion bird

No, Starving Venom was hit because it's the best hit regardless of the future. Not only are copying effects just great in general (especially ones with no cost and on an Extra Deck monster that Pendulums can vomit out easily enough), but they limit Konami's design space severely. Every time they design a card, they have to look back at every copy effect and ask whether it's going to abuse the new card. Otherwise, we get FTKs or other stupid things like a massive beatstick that pings for 5k. With copy effects gone (or at least tamed), we can have more nice things. In theory.

True draco still sells as much as the archetypes you mentioned COMBINED, even if they unbanned all their stuff. That being said. we all know lots of things should be unbanned, but at least now they are properly dealing with problems and constantly unbanning stuff, let's be grateful. The banlists we had before were complete garbage and a complete joke.

Honestly, Masterpeace wasn't why True Draco was so powerful. He definitely helped, but he wasn't the core reason. It was the draw power and the flood gates. I would have banned Demise, and banned heritage. If you hit the draw power, they: 1. Don't draw multiple Diagrams 2. Don't draw into power cards (Ignis, floodgates, 1 ofs, etc). 3. Don't draw into search targets like Masterpeace and Majesty Also, Amano won't be AS abusable, since if you reduce the draw power than the need for ash reduces (also, they can't draw into him to save their demise). Now True Draco is the best stun deck to ever exist. But the pendulum hits were good.

wonderllama6 my biggest problem with utopic zexal is that it severly limits design space. i blame him for the reason why we don't have a normal spell rank-up-magic searcher. because look what happened. people found a way to consistently get 1 in hand, and it gets banned simply because utopic zexal is that powerful. if anything needs to go it's that card.

the reason the little dracos came back is because draco is just a tribute stun deck now. very greedy and doesnt have a win button card literally isnt going to be absurd. just gonna be very tempo based and acturally good for the game. isnt super combo heavy that locks players out. like rivalry and anti spell arent the worst cards in the game unless you play pendulums.

As daunting as draco is to come off the banlist, keep in mind that when a card/strategy is unbanned it is considered to be not a viable strategy for the current playing format. Keep your hopes up farfa, maybe dracos wil not see competitive play but be annoying with floodgates.

Don't get why you keep on complaining about floodgates, they are there for a reason. That reason being to combat the meta. Now when MP is banned True draco wont be a tier 1 deck anymore. Yes when the tier 1 deck is a floodgate playing deck e.g true dracos then floodgates are unhealthy for the state of the Meta. But now when THE most problematic card has been banned there is no way True Dracos are still gonna be tier 1. I think the format is reliant on having some Floodgates to not go out of control. YES, some floodgates are unhealthy... just look at Royal Oppression or Vanity's which were pretty much meta defining on thier own in any deck. I wouldn't like to see a format where every continuous stun/control effect where banned and only Spyrals, Gouki, "Insert deck that has room for atleast 9 hand traps and still can beat the meta" are able to be played. And lets not forget that Brandish soon comes out, if Anti-spell and all the similar cards were all banned then every other non Brandish deck can just say goodbye to ever being viable. (It might already be the case EVEN with Anti-spell at 3 but hey one can hope for the best). Personally I'd like monsters to actually be able to have a downside, like you know dying?... Even spells and traps do something when they leave the field now a' days, just hate how everything since BA has to generate advantage so it doesn't matter if things die or not OR have a super high chance of sticking to the board (like MP had) to be viable.
