The water wind is festival was great ...provided you teched in at least 3 different outs to Lancea and/or Aegirine specifically, and drew at least one of said outs per duel. I gave up on competing to go first, built going 2nd penguins, and vibed for the whole thing

The Water/Wind festival gave the opportunity to finally built Ghoti. Mostly cause I could use Evenly Matched in the deck. Had someone with Aegrine, Regular Trish, and Lancea chain Aegrine's effect to my evenly. They surrendered. It was funny.

Yeah going second was the way to go because with limited handtraps and negates, most decks in that event loses hard to board breakers. Built a Going 2nd Sharks and got a 19 winstreak. It was pretty fun

I just ran a burn deck with the Water and Wind Timelords. It was scary the amount of times I won vs. Speedroids because they'd waste their Clear Crystal spell/trap negate on Poison of the Old Man when I would then flip up Magic Cylinder.

I used phantasm spiral the entire time, kinda work just destroy the lancea and negate the trish it summoned. Though I lost a lot because of Aegirine but at least I didn't have to craft any UR for the event

5:23 What was their identity beforehand? Oh yeah, it was "I identify as in the Graveyard." Field Spells were neigh unplayable aside from Geartown for the longest time. Whenever there was more than 1 good deck that had a Field Spell the format became awful. Whoever had their Field Spell second just shut off the opponent's core card.
