It kinda makes sense since fusion monster normally requires fusion spell card, which means we have a powerful fusion monster and a spell card that goes back to hand to fusion summon again on your next turn or use for resource on the opponent's turn. It's a 2 for 1 kinda a deal

@@saskara6641: We already have Creation to search for monsters so it would need to be a card that searches the s/t cards (Patronus is good but slow for the purpose we need it for). Maybe a monster that has the effect to add a witchcrafter spell. Schmietta can mill any witchcrafter card so she’s not being powercrept yet.

@@giangole: Someone in another video suggested that they’d need a link monster that just lets them send spells from deck to graveyard instead of hand to activate Witchcrafter effects, though a field spell would be better since that can be used immediately while a link monster requires you to already be in motion to get value. I had suggested before a card (maybe link monster) that allows you to use the Witchcrafter effects on your opponent’s turn. The biggest issue with the deck isn’t just the fact that you lose your hand advantage to get out monsters. It’s the fact that the whole gimmick of the deck (retrieving your spells) takes so long to do. You can’t activate a spell and get that spell back during the same end phase, and rather than changing that whole mechanic (like how Lamda changed the effects of Psy-Frames or Malefic Territory changed the effect of Malefics), just make it so Witchcrafter effects to retrieve themselves can be activated during your end phase and then witchcrafter normal effects can be used during your opponent’s turn.

Love to see Witchcrafters on! One of my favourites to play and surprisingly easy to mix with other archetypes. My favourite so far has been Runick. Lots of extra spells for reasoning, good draw power, and enough removal that you don't need the battle phases you skip. I still need to try branded though, I've heard good things.

I’m honestly surprised at some of the decks on the bottom table… Obviously these decks are “bad” in the competitive sense but some of these (Snake Pit and Witchcrafter) are genuine competent strategies that I have played against before. I mean after MAMA released I knew about Branded Witchcrafter and for that first month after release I encountered it multiple times.

I do like this list quite a lot although I don't think 3 Illusionist is really necessary when Souls can just send the second Haine. It's also worth noting that this deck runs really nicely off of a double branded engine with Fusion Conscription for Cartesia, the Virtuous, both of which lessen the number of Witchcrafters you need in hand to pull off a Fusion, which generally makes them better than the garbage in archetype fusion

I have a similar deck but I also use Cartesia and summoner Monk to turbo fusion with a little shaddoll. I'm at diemon 3, but so far can't go any higher because of the flood of tear and branded

You can actually play this deck with branded and its so much better. Even if not this deck can be improved alot with cartesia or even magistus verre which is a spellcaster that searches a fusion spell (if you cant afford cartesia in tcg)

Would someone be kind enough to tell me the names of waifu Sincro, xyz and link? They are the monsters and evocations that I absolutely love most and since I want to have fun and I've been playing master duel for a month, I would like to create a deck that in addition to beauty is also on average strong, that's the bare minimum. To make you understand the waifus should be like the princess tamer of flames. Remember that I prefer Sincro, xyz and link female monsters. If you could mention some names I would be grateful
