Adding another kash+having a crazy removal+1 card combo starter+is splashable in any deck and can burn all of the resources+free spsummon+if you just let it pop off you get full kashtira comboed before even going to the main part of the deck, ofc Fenrir is not a problem..

It’s not supposed to represent a format. It’s based on the Dragoon challenge he did on stream a few years ago, where you would have to play through Dragoon + other disruptions. Also all the floodgates were at 1 copy in the deck

@@BatmannotBruceWayne1 I get that but it just seems unreasonable? Not every deck is gonna play like that and it misrepresents cards like Fenrir and Dragoon if your playing a deck like this. They’re usually supplemental to other strategies and I just feel it’s unfair to play with banned or limited cards to prove that another legal card deserves to be on the list with them. He played Imperial Order in the video which does deserve its spot on the list. Fenrir just seems like a non problem in comparison.

@ foxxinrox The whole point is to show how strong Fenrir is by having the opponent play through it plus some number of interactions. Fenrir at 3 just makes it easier to open the Fenrir so you don’t have to reset as often.

I like how Fenrir winds up being the least problematic card of this challenge half the time. Its main value is as a deck thinner going first, and going second it's basically a worse Pankratops since it can't dodge targeted OR field negation(I.e. Skill Drain) or beat over an Atk position Dark Magician.

It'd make them a bit worse going 2nd and easier to out in few situations, but I doubt it'll do much. The problem with the deck is that the lvl 7s have no summon restriction, not event hard opt on summon. They're still a free summon lvl 7 searcher with very good interruption and insanely splashable even with bad stats. They're not hard to out on their own (or in pure Kash), but as an engine, you'll have to deal with them as an addition to already good board, so atk won't matter most of the time.

I do not normally play Kash but its 2024 and Fenrir gets outted like a Kuriboh. My knee's shake for when Red Eye's comes to Master Duel though, if it gets back, I'll be taking a break. Individually? Not really... Maxx "C" is powerful because of its ability to get you other powerful cards, whether it be combo starters, extenders, hand traps, or board breakers. Maxx "C" can't help you if your Deck technically needs 2 or more Normal Summons to pop off. Personal experience.
