Honestly the reason I've enjoyed this series so much is because it feels like I'm just chilling with two dudes playing yugioh I definitely wouldn't miss it if you decided to do something like this again in the future albeit with whatever alterations you two see fit to actually get enjoyment out of it, but I'm also perfectly fine just dropping by and staying a while in whatever you happen to be streaming at the time For me the series wasn't about the card game, it was about the guys playing it

You guys could make a second series, and playing other decks that you actually enjoy playing (it doesnt need to be tier 1) you could also put some limits to your budget like Revs which would make the series proceed slower and have some suspense into it.

The budget rule is okay, but the deck choice was a yikes. Farfa want a fair and balance game with interaction for each players, so banning any decent SD(such as shaddol, new machina, or monarch) and not choose monkey. So yeah limited option not enjoyable for a long season i geuss.

Thanks for the series guys! I think there's ways to make a series like this fun, but the decks started out WAY too good for future pack openings to be meaningful. Ending it now is the right choice. Going forward it would just have been Farfa slowly going insane, opening thousands of packs of Phantom Rage to get Torn Scales. I'm not going to say I WOULDNT enjoy watching the slow decline in to madness, but it'd probably bad for his long-term health.

Yeah your first mistake was to just pick up ready to play decks. In contrast, Revz' deck changes every week, which significantly makes his series a lot more engaging and interesting.

Yeah, like all they need right now are good stapels, which usally are hard to pull because they have high rarytis or they have buy a whole box just for 1, 3 off or opening box after box trying to pull the card they need (PK Monster for example). Like the propose is to improve your deck and yeah a Torn Scale does this, but there is nothing more in the set to pull it's boring

I hope you start the series over! Now that you know what you liked and disliked I think you could have a great season 2. I think it would be more fun if you could only buy core booster packs and nothing else. It would make it take much longer to get a deck that's refined.

Sad this series end here, but I understand that this make no sense if both of you don't enjoy the format. I enjoy a lot the adventure ! Maybe try this on simulator like Cimo's and Nyhmnim's progressions series, doesn't feel a waste of money if you don't pull the good card and you can change your deck more often if it doesn't please you ! You should consider the antithesis series. Unsealed! Building a competitive deck from the secondary market only. Track all the sales and show the inconveniences and accomplishments that come with avoiding sealed product. This series makes sense to cut here. You took the style of show in a positive direction, but it really needs a closed circuit of around eight players, and p2p trades should be on the table. It is one of the best reasons to go for sealed product is trading them at locals and with friends. Never the less, it was a good chronicle from the year the world stood still. In order to the series being more fun meme/balanced decks, back and forth and less of a stomp between the deck(s) quality should've gone for: -20 bucks max budget per week. -Starting week 3 cannot use the same Archetype core for two weeks in a row. -Cannot buy any product that has no randomized cards in it clause, like duel devastator. """Duel Devastator is a TCG collector's set, and the first set of its kind in the TCG with a guaranteed collection of cards not made into a particular deck. 56 Ultra Rare of current meta and anti-meta cards""" Yeah, that's like kinda like cheating an aspect of "sealed product only" when its guaranteed, its like buying x3 structure's core's and dueling at that point. The same with the Megatins promos that coder's getting. (X2 almost guaranteed Nibiru's, Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Dark Ruler No more) So no structures, no randomized o guaranteed promos and no buying of product that has "some guaranteed" cards on it. A season 2 against Coder (or another dude if he dont want to do it again) with these balances and more could be really insteresting and fun.

those restrictions sound legit. I will say that $20 budget is a bit low. I'd say the starting budget should be around $40 to kick off the series and tweak the weekly budget between $20-30 depending on how the series is progressing. Maybe also add a ban pick for either side to keep certain strats from running rampant. Sounds pretty good otherwise

Maybe they can try to continue this series with one of the rules being the maximum copies of a card they can play is 1. At least this way the decks would not necessarily completely blow out the other. Sure, the games would instead be super sacky and they might have the same win conditions, looking for the same generic boss monster, but at least the games would be way more interesting and unpredictable for them (I hope).

Is it just his personality, or did Coder seem like he was acting passive aggressive and salty af during that post game interview? I’ve never watched him before this series, so I’m not sure. And any benefit of the doubt, or joke farfa made about the games was just instantly shut down. His answers were also really short and direct, and the playfulness that was in the other videos was clearly gone during the post game. I guess that’s what I’m picking up on more than anything I guess. I am curious though if someone wouldn’t mind answering.

Coder had like 3 different decks he wanted to play and farfa told him he couldn't, so coder basically was forced to play zombies. Farfa was allowed to play the deck of his choice from day one and phantom knights are an actual good deck so it's hard for coder to compete with that.
