The biggest weakness of fake strongmen is their inability to laugh at themselves because they know it will break the illusion they are trying to portray to the outside world. Anytime they come to power they quickly clamp down on comedy and satire because they are nothing more than snowflakes.

This scene is genius because it shows the best approach to handling self described hard men. A true hard man doesn't need to declare it, its evident by their actions whereas fake hard men need to tell you (a hard man for hard times). They are so obsessed with maintaining their strongman persona that they lose their sense of humour and the ability to laugh at themselves. Mocking them or satiring them gets under their skin so easily and they quickly reveal themselves to be a snowflake. Look at any strongman dictator to ever come to power, one of the first things they do is outlaw comedy because they can't handle people laughing at them.

Florida Republicans successfully did something not as extreme as this, but obviously similar. Jose Rodriguez was an incumbent Democrat in a state senate race. A mysterious third party candidate popped up late in the race, Alex Rodriguez. Turns out Alex's funding was exclusively from Republicans. The Republican then won the seat by 32 votes. Alex Rodriguez has been arrested, but the Republican that won the seat hasn't been officially linked to the scheme, so they have been able to keep the seat.

No 100 percent wrong! She literally gets arrested for that in the opening, which sets up the plot. This season was soo cleverly written. This season is on par with season 1, season 2 had spaceships that deux ex machina'd Lou at the end. But nobody talks about that, the writing of this season got smarter, but the audience got dumber.
