Watch his performance in "Dogma". I know that film is a comedy, but he's got a few dramatic moments in the movie, particularly the scene where he explains the big twist to the protagonist. It's a powerful moment, and he plays it straight rather than funny. If he could make it work there, I have every confidence that he can do this series.

I'm sure this will be good, but the African American Mafia feuding with the Italian Mafia in1950's Kansas City Missouri kind of spoils the whole Faro Vibe. The show being set in the Northern Midwest is what gives it it's charm.
