Would it be possible to add dilute sulphuric acid directly to a field? For example metering it in via irrigation. Sulphuric acid is one of the most produced process chemicals on earth and very inexpensive. It would seem this would rapidly change soil pH wo having to apply huge amounts of elemental S and waiting for rain and bacteria to to acidify the soil. We dont mine islands for seabird guano to get nitrogen anymore, often we use straight anhydrous NH3.

Again thanks for the great advice, show and vids,. My dad used to have a garden and plant all types of veggies,. And now it’s weird cos I remember some stuff like having a manure pit, and we lived an urban area and not everyone appreciated the smell, every December they ask for litchis, plums and mangoes, anyways, I’m in South Africa 🇿🇦 and now it’s the tail end of winter and your experience shines thru,. And is really easy to follow and I hear that hail is also an issue everywhere, (which once made 2019 fruiting season a no-show). Spring season starts in Aug,Sep & Oct,.
