It is really cool stuff, John. My brother Hank has most of it over at his property.

I would love to find an auction like that here at home near Bristol VA/TN.
@carolinahillcountry2 жыл бұрын
I have a lot of family in Johnson City and Erwin. My momma is from Erwin. I like the Bristol area, and I would think there would be some old antique auctions in that area.

Being a boomer I like videos such as this. I'm guessing the red 61 Ford wasn't for sale but the other one was. I have a 61 Club Victoria (flat back glass not fast back) cool car. Still looking for one with good chrome side trim. Hard to find. Very rare. I suspect most went to the ditch when used up back then. I'll keep watching, I love this stuff.
@carolinahillcountry2 жыл бұрын
That's right brother. The family wanted to keep the red Ford. Yeah most of those nice old cars are hard to find. Thanks for watching!

Your all smiling, but thats my family's history going away.
@carolinahillcountry Жыл бұрын
Yes we were smiling on these days, but I can assure you it was not meant to be disrespectful in any way. Our smiling comes from the joy of the Lord. I am not sure who you are or if the homestead was part of your family. If so I can promise we cherish these invaluable items and deeply respect this gentleman's history. My brother even mentioned his respect for this man and how he was in awe of his collection. I apologize for any hurt you may feel and pray for your peace and comfort in the name of Jesus.

@carolinahillcountry Жыл бұрын
I am not a political person, Dan. It was just a light-hearted part of the video. When this video posted the Brandon thing was trendy. We thought it was interesting that this vintage Brandon cigarette sign had so much interest based off the current trend. I respect that everyone has different views and opinions on many matters, including your opinion of me. I care more about folks' eternal souls than politics.
