Now that's neat. I was able to buy my 70 Chevelle from the original owner too. The older gentleman was from Texas, and he ordered it new from a dealership. He got himself a 2 door hardtop, maroon with a black vinyl roof. Tan vinyl interior. Here is what was different, he ordered the 350, 4 barrel, a 3 speed manual transmission, floor shift with a Hurst shifter, and a bench front seat. Now even better, he also ordered the SS dash with it. The tach, all the guages, the whole thing. Oh, factory A/C too! It had the standard factory ralley wheels, 14"x7" and not one thing missing from the wheels, all the way to the top. Beauty. When he moved from Texas to Arizona, he went and had a receiver hitch put on so he could tow a trailer containing his household everything! He said, "With the air-conditioning on the whole way, it never got hot, it never slowed down for hills, and he only had to gas up 4 times. Great guy. Well, when I got her home, the 1st thing I did was to go buy a brand new, heavy duty clutch and pressure plate, get the flywheel turned, put back together except for two things different. A new Borg Warner 4 speed tranny and a new Hurst shifter. Crap! I totally forgot to say that he also ordered a 12 bolt posi for it too! Ha, how could I forget that. 3.73 gears. So cool! To me, this is a SAA-WEEEET CHEVELLE ! ❤❤❤

Yes, he was a very neat man. That 63 Impala he has was sweet. I love how he held onto that stuff for so long, like the tractor he built when he was 16 years old.

Yeah that Duster is not like the others. Great color combination all the options and the biggest motor you could get in them. I think the best thing with that car though is the history of it and the great care it has had it's whole life.

No A-body Mopars '73-'76 were 2-bbls. The best ones? '75-'76 A38 versions of Dart & Valiants- close second is an A51 optioned A-body. I have a big-block '69 Dart 2-dr and a '76 Valiant sedan (V8, A-833 OD, "340" suspension). The sedan is a ton of low-stress fun that people always ask about
