The police woman firstly appears reasonable but blows it immediately after continuing to ask questions when this auditor had immediately stated he doesn't answer questions. From that point she's being contemptuous. But this auditor handled the police well and stood for his rights even when confronted by feelings policing. The cop didn't seem too bad. There's many more of them who get their ego's bruised by auditors and escalate situations.

Something bad like this might happen when a liar has told the police agency over a phone call, by telling them the lia that you are either doing something illegal or tells them you are disturbing other people or endangering someone, I have the question because this happened to me when two people called the police and lied to the police agency about disturbance and said I was in the middle of public roads and staying infront of moving traffic that is illegal and I wouldn't commit anything illegal in the public roads of New Zealand, but they ordered revoke of my driver license, that is order taken against a person who commited no illegal actions and I was too busy to take action to oppose their false accusation in someway, which was to reply to the officer that sends a paper envelope in the mail box

Its one thing holding authorities to account but why private businesses.we all know that people in NZ dont know thier rights,and that includes morons like these that try to stop you filming anything you can see from a public place. BTW ,you should carry a copy of the privacy act bill of rights act,and more immportantlt crimes act 1961 sectiob 216-use of interception devices(216 2b)
@kiwifreedom2 жыл бұрын
jadekayak01 private businesses stand on my rights all the time, anyone who wants to stand on my rights is fair game, just because nzer's don't know there rights doesn't mean I shouldn't exercise mine. I can't see the point in carrying pieces of paper, anyone who's got that big of a problem with you isn't gonna read a piece of paper, as for 216 of the crimes act I don't see how that's relevant, I'm not intercepting anyone's private communication, if they want to have a conversation within my hearing that's on them there is case law on that, I'm not using any device to capture any private communication, I recording a conversation between myself and another person, of which one of the parties must agree to it, which I do, so end of story. But you are entitled to your interpretation, but I will stick with mine thankx
@jadekayak012 жыл бұрын
@@kiwifreedom a video camera is an "interception device".it captures communication between people through its audio capability.this is not my opinion,it is the law.any kind of device from a still shot camera,videow camera,tape recorder,or digital recording devive is covered by this law.a recent case(3 years ago) of a woman recording her soon to be ex husband discussing matrimonial property split was sucessfully used in court even tjhough the recording was made covertly in a cafe.the section of law refered to was 216b 2a. This also applies to recordings made of telephone conversations-other party does not even need to be yold of the recordings as lpng as the person doing the recording is party to the conversation.bjsinesses provide a warning on customer service calls purely because the call is being recorded by a third party who is not involved in the conversation.if you continue knowing it is being recorded it is deemed conscent under the law

Mate, you're wasting your time here. Challenging abuses of power is one thing, but wandering around spooking people by strange behaviour (which you know is strange which is why yr doing it, & will provoke legitimate ?'s by staff on site) & then starting para-legal arguments with cops just doing their jobs when they're called out to a situation, isn't a sensible way to carry on. Isn't there some other way you can challenge real authority abuse in NZ?
@Sir_Richard_Stewart2 жыл бұрын
You really don't get it do you !
@wm89822 жыл бұрын
There probably is, but I notice you didn't suggest one... Strange behaviour may catch your attention - but if it doesn't rise to criminal activity then we're just talking about fear, or the unknown mystery that is another human being... being free, aren't we ? I don't think this gets close to 'authority abuse' but it does show the training priorities... She MUST ask for your ID regadless of the circumstances... She's trained to do it like a dog... From sit, stand, walk, talk, ask for ID, talk, walk, sit. Stats probably show that they make more arrests on outstanding warrants than they do on SERIOUS / VICTIM crime... Lobby your local MP for changes to the legislation... Hahaha... Now I see why you didn't suggest one ! Hahaha...

Since the cops publicised their falling numbers - less than 10,000 the gangs have started new associations that could see an overall number in the 50,000 plus range. That's JUST the gangs - not the other criminal enterprises out there... just gangs. 5:1? We're already there Dave...
